Hi! I'm Jessica!

My art is usually just for me or close family or friends. I am really stepping out of the box by doing swap-bot. Typically I try to make fun of my pieces before anybody else can.

I dig on some Kevin Bacon.

I'm currently reading the Stephanie Plum Series (love it!) I started a few months before the movie came out....its taking me FOREVER to read them all....I am about half way thru them...

Personally, I am kinda geeky.

I am a veggie, no meat besides sea food so I guess I am a fake veggie.

I like to run (thanks to my husband who inspires me).

I like to do arty farty things and read. I enjoy girly movies and books.

Vincent Price is awesome!

I have a turtle named Christopher and a lab-mix named Bowie (yes, after David Bowie)

I like happy things that are not usually happy such as that little envelope that is the swap-bot logo...he he...they make me giggle....

I collect owls and turtle things....pin-up girls....anything funny...and lots of things vintage...

I like all kind of tunes such as Coldplay (me faves) Pink, Arcade Fire (new album is amazing!), The Pixies, David Bowie, The Black Crows, Jewel, Justin Timberlake, U2, Usher, Nick Drake, The Beetles, Damien Rice, George Michael, Sheryl Crow, TLC, some of LCD Sound System...Mumford and Sons...Musicals (like Phantom of the Opera), Broken Bells, The Shins, John Mayer, ya know....stuff like that....

I dig on some 80's movies....and John Cusack

I LOVE Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sookie Stackhouse Books (I liked them way before Trueblood), and yes I like the Twilight Saga as well...

My fav Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid

I love my husband the mostest....and he loves doing triathlon!

My fav holiday is Halloween...My husband and I collect vintage Halloween decor.

I miss the old school Nickolodeon....Double Dare, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Pete and Pete, Doug, Clarissa Explains it All....sigh....

My Fav color is Purple but I always seem to wear and lot of Brown and Green....earthy colors....

I love the Grinch! Your a mean one...

I am also a big sucker for any of the Rankin and Bass movies/specials....

I dont have a wish list for people to look at....I love anything....plus if you dont have a list of things to look at that I want....maybe you'll send my something I had never even thought about wanting.....

Comment: Thank you for the "sleepy time owl" ATC. I had to laugh because the one I sent my partner was sleepy too (named "Whoooo's snoozin".) I also liked the pretty note card, owl stickers and decorated envie.
