Hello! My name is Amy. I'm a newish swapper, so I'm sure I'll update my profile later, but for right now, here's what I have.
The mail comes any time between 8 AM - 12 PM. If I send something out in the afternoon, that means my swap may be postmarked one day later than when I mark it as sent. I mark swaps as sent once I drop it off in a post box.
I'm a second-generation Asian-American; I currently live in New England, though I was born in Texas.
I have a golden retriever named Sunny. I had another golden retriever when I was little named Mackenzie.
Favorite colors: navy blue, dark red, dark gray, soft purple
Favorite foods: ramen, boba, scones, bagels w/cream cheese, kiwis, and blueberries.
Favorite animals: dogs of course, ducks, penguins.
Other hobbies: photography, watching YouTube videos (favorite channel: Let's Game it Out), baking, and occasionally crocheting or making friendship bracelets.
I was a piano player in my youth, and because of that, I love some good classical compositions. I'm more rock-oriented now, but I've also explored into metal. Recommendations for new songs/bands are always welcome.
I've been doing Postcrossing for about 4 years now, so I really enjoy stickers, washi tape, postcards, postage stamps, and letters. I also like tea; my favorite is green tea, though I enjoy black (English breakfast) and earl grey. I'm interested in trying other types though!
On postcard topics, I've learned that I'm more interested in the message over the image, so you're welcome to pick whatever you'd like (no preference on illustrations vs photographs), but my favorite themes include botanicals, sunsets/sunrises/cloud pictures, your standard viewcards, and cute illustrations. Handmade postcards are most certainly welcome! So are envelopes and folded cards.
Birthday cards: sure, during the end of October!
I enjoy when people tell me about themselves.
I'm sure the things I enjoy will grow the more I swap here -- this part is a work in progress!
