Hello!

My name is Jennifer and I currently live in Southern California. I just moved here in September 2022, so I still have plenty of new places to explore.

I really love to write and send letters and postcards, but none of my “real life” friends are into that. Swap-bot seems like a great place to find people with similar interests.

Some of my favorite things: dogs, Christmas, cross-stitching, playing the piano, reading, and trying new recipes. My favorite color is purple. I’m not even going to admit how many things in my house are purple. LOL

I have a two year old Mini Schanuzer who is my best friend and also pretty demanding. She’s my partner in crime and I don’t know what I would do without her. I am single with no kids and no significant other. Life can get a little lonely sometimes, but my dog is a great companion and travel partner. We have been on many road trips together, just her and I.

My day job is working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. I’ve been in this field of work for 16 years. It’s very rewarding, but can also be a little stressful. However, I really enjoy my weekends and holidays and I love having the summer off.
