Hi there! Quite out of the blue, we took a hiatus from swap-bot. But we are back hoping to enjoy other swaps and maybe host more of our own.

We're Andrew and Sonia. Andrew is an Australian and Sonia is an American living in Australia. We've been in a loving relationship now for over many, many years and both share a love for discovery, travelling, postcards, lazy Sunday's with Netflix, sweets, museums, our cat Cloudy, stumbling across small villages, road trips and the occasional antique shopping. If you'd like to know more do keep an eye out for any penpal swaps we may be hosting!

Our main goal for being here is we are hoping to create a couple of long term penpals: preferably another couple rather than single individuals. Every year we try to visit family in the US and on occasions would like to have a set of close knit friends we could venture with.

Sonia also enjoys crafting in her spare time and has room for another pen pal or two. My sister has been a constant letter writing pal and I would like to find someone as committed as her!

POSTCARDS: We'd like national cards - meaning a card that represents your country. As well as state cards too - cards that represent your state, province or county. Flag - a post card depicting your country/state or provincial flag. :), Vintage, Victorian black and white

Also, postcards depicting paintings and works of art from the Impressionist type period. Or just anything interesting and beautiful or whimsical and sparkly.

We like a personal touch to the post cards. We're not really into this blank cards. A human touch would be nice like a quote or a simple hello. :)

Dislikes:

1. Anything to do with Justin Bieber, One Direction, Miley Cyrus or anything that destroys the term 'music'.

2. Nothing R or X rated thanks.

3. No close-up pictures of an ant please. (you know what I mean). ;)

4. No free postcards, used cards or cards depicting advertisements or real live animals.

5. Sticker DISLIKE☠ : Anything with foreign language writing ( only English please). No real life animals. No bands or cartoons ( ex: pokeman, Beiber, Barbie, people , nothing for babies, no cars or planes or automobiles or boats, clowns, letters, numbers or symbols. Nothing that looks like its been cut out of a children's color book and aimed at 4 year olds.

Stickers ❤: Cute stickers, scratch and sniff, Cupcakes with faces. Colorful owls. Cute animal stickers ( cartoonish not REAL animal photos), glittery stickers, vintage inspired, quote stickers, colourful stickers, holiday themed stickers. Sanrio Hello Kitty ( especially if it is chococat, Batsmaroo or Kerroppi character), flowers (not real flowers).

Collects: stickers, stationary sets, pens, art supplies, cute post it notes and post it bookmarks, washi tape, memo pads, pencils (kawaii)

Favorite color for Sonia : velvets, dark purple and greens-

Favorite for Drew : Sky Blue , dark blue and red.

Favorite sort of reads for Sonia: Young Adult ( not sexual romances more like Harry Potter etc) historical fiction ( The Historian gave me chills!), mystery, Victorian era books, Jane Austen ( and the likes), Sherlock Holmes, Edgar Poe, Dan Brown, Little House on the Prairie, Van Gogh letters, Mysterious benedict society, The Help, ahhh so many! Scented creams, body wash, candles, potpourri, scented soaps, lip balm, bookmarks ( sticky ones), lip color palette, home décor items,
