Hey there! My name is Daniel (Dani for short). Currently located in Ypsilanti, MI. I am a born and raised Michigander, lived in the Upper Peninsula for 16 years but moved back down to be closer to family. Went to Michigan Tech in the UP and have a BS in Chemistry, so i definitely love all things science related.

As a kid I had pen pals and absolutely loved it. I started Post Crossing this year and it's become somewhat of an addiction(lol). I love meeting new folks from all over, hearing what they have to say and what they want to share with a complete stranger.

This is my word vomit about my interests, there is definitely a lot missing

Cooking -- You are always more than welcome to send me your fav recipe. I haven't found a cuisine type that i don't like

Concerts -- recently knocked out a Sum 41, Offspring and Simple Plan all in one with a pit ticket, was definitely one of the best nights of my adult life so far.

Broadway -- Still a bit of a newbie when it comes to musicals. I always watched the basics in movie form growing up but a new friend is "broad"ening my horizons lol

Antiques/Thrifting -- I can literally spend hours in antique stores. I buy so many little knickknacks and random things. I don't have a specific style, just whatever "jumps out". I have things ranging from handmade vases from Mexico, a taxidermy piranha, fans from Japan pre ww2, to an Edison Amberol record.

Books -- Most of my reading is true crime or science related. non-fiction is my go to, unless it's Junji Ito

Mini Golf and Arcade-- my absolute go to places. play a lot of rhythm games like DDR and Sound Voltex

TV -- Star Trek TNG, Bob's Burgers, Golden Girls, Office, Parks and Rec, Spaced, Doctor Who, Archer, RuPaul, RHoNY, so many different British shows

Movies -- Anything by Mel Brooks, Hook, Shrek, Star Wars, Bee Movie, Pixar, Studio Ghibli

I'm happy and grateful to receive any postcard! Doesn't matter theme/context to me at all. It can match one of my interests or can be something completely random. I love seeing what people choose to send and what others like.
