I just came back from a depressive episode that lasted a few months, so if you didn't receive a swap from me, please feel free to contact me. I am really sorry about that, I just needed to get away from everything, but I think I'm good now and I'm ready to get back into swapping and pen palling!

My name is Alexia Tomita, but I really like the nickname "Lexi" so all my pen pals address my letter as "Lexi" and the "T" is because I need a last name, but "Lexi Tomita" sounds a bit weird so I settled for "Lexi T" as my name! Just "Lexi" is fine too!

I plan on becoming a foreign language and English as a Second Language teacher. I am currently learning French and Hawaiian, while planning on taking Italian, ASL (American sign language), Japanese, Greek, German, and/or Spanish.

• Also, I know some people rate a 3 if the swap date is off by a day or two, and I will not do that. If you need more time to send a swap to me, don't hesitate to message me that you need more time. I won't rate a 3 if you communicate that it'll be late.

I live in Hawai'i, USA. Hawai'i is known as a tourist trap, because of its beauty and all the hotels, shopping malls and modern day commonalities such as water parks, bowling alleys and ice rinks. I, in my own opinion, prefer the nature and hikes Hawai'i has to offer. I live on O'ahu, one of the island chains, and if you ever decide to visit this island in particular, it should be to see places such as Mānoa Falls, Icy Ponds and the Stairway to Heaven. I love Swapbot because I will be able to make new pen pals and swap items we think someone else may like. I like the idea that we could make someone's day (not to mention they're complete strangers you have never met) by sending an envelope full of stationery and small goodies based on the things their bio says. I like that idea, that I find little surprises in the mailbox by strangers (as far as knowing them) and the potential to become friends (and maybe even pen pals) is a likely possibility.
