NOTE: My swaps: I still have 3 swaps that had been assigned already when my stroke hit. Doing those keeps getting closer!

On 1/4/24 I greeted the New Year by having a stroke. It was a small stroke, nothing cognitive. But I did lose the use of my right leg, at least for now. So much now to learn! As of 2/1/24 I'm out of rehab, and my medications have stabilized as of today. I'm waiting for a wheelchair accessible apartment (hopefully by 2/15), and it will be so good to have all my stuff out of storage. As of 2/13 I'm graduated from a wheelchair to a walker! Apartment is still in the works, so everything I own is still in storage. But today my brain sort of clicked on (hadn't realized it was off!) and I'm excited about swapping again. Got a tag out, hope to make progress on the 3 swaps. Life is good!

I'm a retired bookkeeper. I love color -- mostly I collage. I'm inexperienced with painting and drawing, but I'd like to do more.

I love it when people draw or paint – we’re all learning, me in particular. Fun to share that!

I like rays of light in the forest scenes. Roller skates! Women in sports. I’m swinging through a pastel-ish mood, blues and greens with gold, yellow, purple. I like watercolor effects. I like puns, word play, and fancy lettering.

I’m not into any of the cutesy anime or cartoon or movie characters. Not so big into black and white, or other big value contrasts.

I can’t tolerate most fragrances. I don’t eat food coloring or preservatives. Don’t like the smell of smoke...

I love making junk journal pages, then binding them together. I use the journaling to work through my thoughts. If I can make an image of a problem, then I can usually solve it! My style is very loose and informal.

My favorite types of mail art, in no particular order, are: ATC Coins, ATCs, Twinchies, and Inchies.

I collect anything that can be used in a background for ATCs, or a journal page: brads, teeny envelopes, washi tape. I love getting little intriguing images that can fit on an ATC.

I'm collecting supplies and quotes for 4 themes: Autumn, Rain, Celebration (pennant, etc), Books.
