December 1st.....

One more update with an apology....

For a few months I have been sick, going through so many tests, getting worse month after month having to change insurances because the one I was with thought throwing medicine at me. The Monday before Thanksgiving I went through a bunch of tests, and on Tuesday I received the results.

I have cancer..... I still have a hard time saying it. I cant believe it and Ive been in shock since I found out. So I am sorry that I dropped the ball on these swaps! But I am going to make good on them! Ive been working on them this weekend and hope to have them all done in a few days. Please accept my apologies! I still would LOVE to be apart of this amazing community. Over the last 2 weeks all the swaps I have gotten have made my day and alot of them have brought tears to my eyes. I started working on swaps again as I stated the other night and realized it really helped keep my mind off of all the what ifs I have running through my mind 24-7. I really feel like this will help keep my piece of mind over the next several months as I go through this!

Also....

My account has been partially suspended, this is because about 2 years ago I was a member of Swap-Bot and due to personal circumstances I had to move suddenly, I wasnt able to forward my mail, and because I was having personal issues I could not fulfill my obligations. I did contact my swap partners and it was quite some time after the fact, and I have contacted swap-bot administration to ask how to rectify this as I will happily do anything necessary! The swaps I am currently in will be completed as scheduled I can promise that!

Im sorry on my delay of ratings and letting you know Ive gotten the swaps, I have had a really rough week and I LOVED all the swaps I received and they really made my day!

A little about me.... I am 40 years old, I have 2 kids, Keegan who just turned 18 in June and Kelcey who just turned 16 September 17th. I am engaged to be married, we were supposed to get married August 18th, but my father in law had a heart attack on August 10th, and we cancelled the wedding, there was no way I would get married under those circumstance, and unfortunatley my father in law passed away on August 31st. So needless to say, we havent even discussed a new date.... Currently I am living with my brother, my sister in law and my beautiful niece Lynnsey who is 8 and I love dearly!!! We are in Southern California, but December 1st we will be moving to Northern California, and I cannot WAIT!!!! :) This last year has been a very stressful and VERY trying time and I am looking to start fresh!!

I currently work full time for the Department of Education and I have to say that it is one of the WORST jobs I have ever had!

As part of my starting fresh I will be starting college in the near future to become a Kindergarten teacher! Its something I always wanted to do and now that my kids do not have so much going on I can now pursue my dream! I also sell Scentsy Products, I started selling to supplement my income, but anything I make I always reinvest! LOL! I also make hairbows and sell them as well but another product that the money I get goes right back!! But I absolutley LOVE selling both things!!!

~ Family time!!! I love spending time with my kids! We do crafts, play games, watch movies, just anything that keeps us together as a family!

~READING!!! I LOVE to read! Its my escape from the world! I LOVE books! I also have a Nook, and rarely use it because I just love the smell of books, but I do like the convienance of the Nook and when you need a book in a pinch its a great thing to have!

~ I love to write! I LOVE writing letters (hand written), I also recently got into Journaling and I love, love, love it!

~Recipes! I am always looking for new recipes to try, I love getting them hand written on recipe cards and getting the story behind the recipe.

~Quotes! I have a book that I have been collecting quotes in since high school, its one of my most cherished items and I am always looking for quotes to add to it!

~Post Cards ( I like mostly all of them, but my favorites would be Disney, beach sceneries, quotes, movies and television)

~Pens ~Notecards, Cards, Blank Journals ~ANYTHING relating to Autumn (its my ABSOLUTLEY favorite time of year!)

~Candles (spicey scents only, like Pumpkin spice, apple/cinnamon, Harvest related)

~Hearts!!! I love HEARTS, anything and everything that has hearts!

~Book Marks, especially homemade ones!

~Disneys UP! Especially anything having to do with Carl and Ellie!

~Teas: I love Constant Comment and Ginger Peach

~Collections: I collect Vinylmations of ALL sizes and anything having to do with the Disney movie UP! ESPECIALLY things that have Carl and Ellie on it, Also love collecting things from Disneys Alice and Wonderland (NOT the one by Tim Burton, that one scares me! LOL!!)

~Favorite TV Shows: My favorites are: Dancing with the Stars, Amazing Race, Survivor, Hells Kitchen, I LOVE, HGTV!! House Hunters, Property Brothers, Buying and Selling, pretty much everything, I can leave that channel on all day and be perfectly content! Same with the Food Network! Ive learned SO much from that channel!

~Movies: Love romance movies, especially Nicholas Sparks, although the last 2 movies kinda disappointed me, Romantic comedies, Dramas... NO SCAREY MOVIES!! Or anything with Clowns!!!
