Description:

Following on from A task a day journal this is part 2. There may be more if I can think up enough tasks without repeating too many!

You have ONE partner and this is an international swap.

For the month, you will have 1 task per day to complete, there are 31 in this series. Some require more thinking than others.

Use any type of journal you want, as long as it had more than 30 pages and is at least a5 in size. (this is 8.3 * 5.8 inches)

Feel free to decorate the journal but you don't have to. Handmade journals are accepted as long as they are done well and don't fall apart. This is a journal swap so no loose sheets please.

Newbies are welcome as long as their profile is well filled out. No one with under 4.9 rating or any 1s in the last 3 month or 3s in the last 6 unless you contact me to explain them first.

So here are the tasks:

1 – Write a letter to your partner introducing yourself on nice writing paper and put it in a sealed, decorated envelope for them

2 – If you could do any job in the world, what would it be and why?

3 – Show your partner the last place you visited

4 – Show your partner your family

5 – Find 3 things that start with the first letter of your first name

6 – share a cookie or cupcake recipe with your partner

7 – share a menu from one of the takeaway / takeout places you use

8 – List the last 5 things you paid for

9 – Find something that comes in your favourite colour

10 – Share something kawaii (Disney not included)

11 – Send a christmas or thanksgiving or haloween card (date depending)

12 – Share your favourite photo

13 – Tell your partner about your favourite Olympic AND / OR Paralympic sport

14 – Find something to share based on your friends profile

15 – What childhood TV shows do you wish would come back?

16 – Share a secret (think postsecret)

17 – Recommend a book for your partner to read

18 – Tell your partner about one of your collections

19 – Share one of your families favourite recipes (sweet or savoury but it can't be the same as for question 6)

20 – Show your pets! (if you dont have any pets, what would you like to have?)

21 – What things do you think you should NOT share on a social network?

22 – Some words of wisdom for your partner

23 – Your favourite poem

24 – what does your house look like?

25 – if you were to get a (another) tattoo, what would it be and why?

26 – share a comic strip / cartoon with your partner

27 – What's the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for you?

28 – Recommend a book to your partner that they should NOT read and why

29 – Share a drawing with your partner – can either be hand drawn or from a colouring book

30 – Fill a page with stickers

Wait, so we have 17 days to complete 30 tasks? I'm confused how this works.

Obstminkerl 09/ 9/2012 #

You have the whole October to complete....and 17 days to send.

tiph 09/ 9/2012 #

Oh wow, obviously I was being completely stupid, for some reason I was thinking that November came after September with no October in between. This is even worse because October is my birth month. >_<

KSENiA 09/10/2012 #

Sorry for asking, but I don't really understand the task # 11... Should we insert the card into journal or actually send it?

rachelw1 09/16/2012 #

@KSENiA - you should put it in to the journal and send when you send the journal to your partner.

@tiph - no worries! Last time I didn't give people long enough to complete the journal so this time you get longer. if you signed up you can always start it now as well

papercaper 09/23/2012 #

You've written the journal should be 'larger than A5'. Does this mean it cannot actually be A5?

rachelw1 09/25/2012 #

@papercaper it can be a5. all i was thinking is that if you do it a6 etc it will be too small to do the tasks properly (i'll edit the swap)

TryshaH81 09/27/2012 #

It says there is 31 questions in this series but you only have 30 listed.

Gabbyloco1 09/27/2012 #

If we were involved in the previous swap is it ok to use the Notebook we recieved? And just kindof pass that along for others to enjoy?

rachelw1 09/29/2012 #

There's only 30 questions!

And @gabbyloco1 if you want to use the first notebook that's absolutely fine

Popcornikimppu1 09/30/2012 #

I love this idea. I am already in one october-task-swap. Next month then. And the task do not need to vary that much - after all, we always get new partners and can make same tasks new ways.

TryshaH81 10/ 1/2012 #

Can we use a spiral bound notebook or does it have to be a journal?

rachelw1 10/ 3/2012 #

You can use whatever type of book you want! I'm using a spiral bound book for this swap myself
