Mom to 3: 2 bigs and 1 little. A 30 year old son, a 25 year old daughter and a 9 year old little boy we adopted in 2013 (but has lived with us since he was 3 years old), married to my best friend. Just a city girl living on a hobby farm in the country (variety of animals and garden). I work outside the home at a local University in Marketing & Communications for Auxiliary Services.
LOVE thrifting, snailmail, reading and DIY crafts. I am also a menu planner with a love for quick and easy recipes. What busy mom doesn't like easy?
Currently a pen pal with several ladies and in a monthly note card group. I used to do scrapbook swapping several years ago (so I have TONS of scrapbook supplies, which I now use with other paper projects). I LOVE Happy Mail in my mailbox; it really brightens my day.
President and Founder of my local Humane Society. LOVE animals!
Willing to do PRIVATE SWAPS for my little boy to receive "Happy Mail". He loves mail too. Kid note card, postcards, stickers - nothing big or expensive. Please feel free to PM me if you would like to do a children swap.

Menus from a local (not chain) restaurant in your area - example: your favorite hometown diner or unique sandwich shop
Free touristy maps/info on your city, Maps
TAGS from Unique Clothing/merchandise (yep, I save the fun ones!)
Coasters (the cardboard kind) from local restaurants in your area (clean please)
Ticket stubs from the subway, movies, fairs, concerts, sports games in your city/country, cardboard milk bottle lids
Letters/pen pals - I enjoy letters written like you are talking to your best friend. Fun, witty, sarcastic...it's all good to me.
Postage Stamps (old or new)

Project Life type cards (homemade with thought & care is great! Doesn't have to be purchased, off brand types are ok too.)

Paper crafts: junk journals, mail art postcards, cards, mini scrapbooks, mixed media, doodling and now ATCs
Simple crochet - still learning
I can't sew, although I would love to learn.
POSTCARDS - love sending and receiving them. Send them the old fashioned way naked with a note written on them and stamped. (not in an envelope, UNLESS it is in a swap where postcard is listed as a filler item, then yes, in the swap envelope is OK) My 6 year old little boy & I are collecting USA state MAP post cards to learn states and facts about them. If you are interested in swapping your state for a GA pc, let me know! Unique postcards (shaped, wooden, vintage).
Ephemera - old or new! What is this? Ticket stubs, used greeting card fronts, brochures, programs, certificates, maps, freebie bookmarks, unused drink coasters from restaurants, etc.
Recipes (easy, quick or crockpot)
If you are sending me mail, I'm really not hard to please. Here is a very short list of things I prefer not to receive:
Please do NOT print out images on plain white office copy paper to send to me. I have access to a printer. (You CAN however print on nice heavier cardstock Project Life type cards, vintage images, or even stamp images to nice paper)
No sweets please, I'm on a health kick! ;)
Coconut
Nudity or profanity items (I'm not a prude, I just have a little boy that loves to check out the incoming mail too)
Goth, Horror, Scary items
I am lucky to work above a Post Office, so I hand deliver my outgoing mail. I am timely in sending out all swaps for which I sign up and only sign up for swaps I will enjoy or have time to complete. If you do not receive something due to you in a swap from me, PLEASE let me know and I will re-send. There is nothing worse that watching for expected mail.
Also I rate swaps as soon as they arrive. I was raised to say 'Thank you' and rating is doing that. Someone took their time to craft, write or package something especially for me - it's the polite thing to do. Please return the favor and rate mine and other's swaps. I join swaps that are fun, to me. I strive to put a SMILE on your face, because after all this IS 'HAPPY Mail!".
Waiting on Ratings
Happy March (a postcard swap) sent to @Bluepony14 sent 3/8 and resent 4/1
WPS- Spring Postcard #2 - Sent 3/30/16. One partner rated promptly - other partner, Melyssa Roy never rated and has now deleted her account.
