I'm a medical coder by day; but an avid artist at night and weekends. I love watercolors, zentangle, mixed media, ATCs, journaling, doodling, mandalas. I've even designed my own adult coloring book. Only family friendly items, please.

I love houses, trees, funky flowers, embroidery, cross stitch, swirls, polka dots, cutesy, zentangles and tons of other stuff.

My favorite place to be is the beach! I guess you could say I love the water! Maybe I should have been a mermaid :-)

I HATE cold weather. PERIOD. If it dips below 70, I'm cold and I hate it. I'm a fair weather girl. I don't like the sticky humidity in late August but that's about all I don't like about summer. The older I get, the colder I get. I just feel the need for warmth always.

I don't like pastels very much, but ok in small doses. I love old book pages, maps, vintage looking papers, sheet music ephemera.

I mostly like country music. I'm not a HUGE music fan, but when I do listen, I mostly listen to country or old rock and roll from the 60s and 70s. Nothing new or pop music - mostly that just gets on my nerves, LOL.

I love mysteries or "whodunit" type books. John Grisham is one of my favorites. Also, Randy Wayne White. Janet Evanovich and Monica Ferris are fun, easy reads too. Sue Grafton, Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark are also among my favorites.

Movies and television are 2 of my least favorite things. Some days our TV never even gets turned on. I like movies, I just can't sit still and watch a movie. If I have one on, I'm usually making something or drawing something. I can't just sit and watch.
