Hello! I´m Rocío from Mexico City :) I´m currently living in Spain, studying a PHD in Hispanic Studies (Contemporary Spanish Literature).I love reading and writing and I spend a lot of time on it, so I really like having cute notebooks to take notes on, bookmarkers, cool pens, highlighters...Actually,I love stationery and things related with it.

When I was a teenager I used to have penpals and it made me really happy. That´s why I decided to join swap-bot. I love surprises, and the experience of writing and receiving mail. Waiting for letters that travel from faraway countries, or just seeing that a new envelope is waiting in my doorstep is really exciting...

On my free time I like doing Yoga or just enjoying Madrid:walking and finding nice places to have a cup of coffee and dessert.

I´m an animal lover. I had two lovely cocker-spaniels that taught me that there´s nothing like having a dog and loving it. I also love horses!!!! They are wonderful, powerful and sensitive creatures

I love illustrations, especially those on books for children, I also like painting with watercolours and I like to draw mandalas

My favorite movie is Spirited Away and I also love Totoro.

WHAT I LIKE:

+Korean stationery, cute stickers, kwaii, lovely post-its

+illustrated postcards (if you send me a postcard, I would like it to come in an evelope that way you can write a little bit more, or add a note, plus the postcard will arrive in better conditions)

+I also like art postcards, specially Chagall, Picasso, Dalí, Monet, Van Gogh...

+dragonflies and butterflies. These winged creatures are magical and special for me.

+bookmarkers, since I love reading they always come in handy. So I appreciate nice store-bought bookmarkers.

+Mafalda. It´s impossible no to smile when you read Mafalda comics. I love her intelligence and simplicity.

+Small little details. I really appreciate when I realize the other person was thinking of me and wanting to make me smile. It desn´t take to much to make me or anyone else smile, I guess, but we are always in a hurry...

+colourful things, colours make me happy.

+Birds, keys, things that look romantic and vintage.
