I live in Montana and enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, and gardening. I love to read and I try to read 100 new books each year. I like to write letters because I love to receive them.

I knit and crochet and love yarn hoarding. I cannot sew.

I read historical biographies, memoirs, character-driven fiction, contemporary and historical romance (no category), travel narratives, experience memoirs (experiments, personal research, family histories), cozy mysteries

No horror (scary), no religious, no crafty how-tos (just makes me feel incompetent). :)

I am interested in Australia, Tudor England (fic or non-fic), American Civil War, Theodore Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, women leaders in the world, information (current or historical) about prison systems, developmental disabilities, female empowerment, and social institutions
