12/5/11 : (Just to let all know I will be out of sync until January 1st. I recently lost my mother unexpectedly and just need a little time. I am NOT FLAKING on anything!! I WILL catch up after Christmas and for those who are waiting and have been so kind I thank you and your kindness will NOT go unnoticed!! For Now I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. .....)

PicklezHey everyone, I am Melody aka Pickles!! Long story about the aka and will explain later! LOL Anyway I am first a Christ follower, next married for 36 yrs to the most amazing man in the world, mom to 3 handsome fellars and MawMaw to 7 beautiful Grandchildren. I live in the Beautiful Ozark Mountains of Missouri USA and Love Love the Lake and country life! Yes, I am a "REDNECK WOMAN" I have been an RN for 20 yrs and have recently become temporarily diasabled due to an illness back in 09 following my revision of a knee replacement. I suffer from CRPS aka RSD on a daily basis but thanks be to my God my family and my art I am not addicted to narcotics and I get through each day one day at a time. One of my Biggest goals in life is to be an inspiration to other women therefore I hope I can always be a positive influence to all even in my moments of pain. I am so excited to get to know all of you and hope to become great friends!! Thanks for reading!

Favorite Crafts

My Favorite crafts are..... Well lets see...... I love them all!! But I guess if I have to narrow it down it would have to be Scrapbooking, Mixed media, Photography, Quilting, Journaling and my 2 new found loves ATC's and ZETTI!!!!!! Yeah babyy and am becomging a Zettiologist and learning by stalking Teesha Moore she is FANTABULOUS!!! I also love anything Vintage, Shabby Chic, Beach theme or outdoors, Quirky and Funny, Spiritual. I love fairies and mysterious not scary or greatful dead skulls or anything like that. I LOVE LOVE LOVE EPHEREMA and Mixed Media. I love going shopping in flea markets and antique stores!!anyway I am stalking you all as well so bring on your beautiful art girlies I wanna learn learn learn!!! If my mind isn't all pickled up with some kind of art I am in shere misery!!!

Favorite Music

Music is my thang as well! Love it all and I have always said you cannot be a true music lover if you don't like it all! I didn't say you had to LOVE it all just like it all!! LOL My favs are Contempo Christian, Country, Bluegrass and Blues as well as good ol 70's!! Gotta love Skynard!! I also play the guitar!

Favorite Movies

My most favorite movie of all is "Gone With The Wind" It doesn't get any better than that. My fav Book as well. Love Chronicles of Narina, Sweet Home Alabama, North and South, Roots, Top Gun, Steel Magnolias, Beaches, Harry Potter, Forrest Gump

Ladies, Let me just let everyone know, I am WAY BEHIND!! I got behind back in September and because of death and illness and have been working diligently trying to get caught up. I have sent out messages to everyone (if I have missed you plz let me know) letting you know what is going on. I am NOT a Flaker nor will I EVER be! If you do not recieve something from me either I am SICK or something is very wrong!!! I would greatly appreciate a kind reminder as to your not recieving anything if you have not heard from me rather than just assuming I am a flaker and leaving me a one. I would not do that to anyone and even though I am new I am still waiting on a couple of swap items myself. I so enjoy swap-bot and all of the wonderful creative ladies I have met and look forward to making some wonderful friends. So once again plz know I am just behind and have 3 more swaps to finsh and I will be all caught up through Dec!! YEAH!!!!! Have a blessed Thanksgiving Everyone!!
