I am married to a wonderful man. Between us, we have 3 sons and 1 daughter, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchild with a third one due in Dec. Our Onyx had to be put to sleep on March 1, 2013. It was heart breaking. We have a new Poodle now and his name is Rocky. He just had his 4th birthday on Oct. 26th. He is a live wire and climbs like a mountain goat! He loves to play with a tennis ball. He came to us house broken, crate trained, does some tricks and loves to ride! I am active in our Church, mainly in the women ministries. I support our Troops and send care packages. I am a member of: Hugs Project, Adopt A Hero, Pals For Our Troops and the NC Patriot Guard. I am a mis-placed Virginia Mountain Girl living in NC since 1966.

I enjoy just about all kinds of crafts. I like scrapbooking, card making, needle work and quilting. I make scarfs and hats using a loom. I like to make towel cakes for any kind of party. \ I am active in the DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution. I waiting to be approved on the National Level,

I like the colors sky blue, yellow, white, rose, some pinks an some pretty greens.

I collect spoons. So far I have about 21 Countries and all the States but 5 or so. I need to write down the States I do not have. All have come from family, friends and our travels. I do not buy online as that takes the fun out of it, I think. Now, I collect unusual kinds.
