Hi Swappers!  This is Keri and I am from the great Show Me State of Missouri - right smack in the middle of the United States!  I live in a suburb, just southeast of Kansas City, called Lee's Summit.  My hubby and I choose to live here for the close community and A+ school system! 

FAMILY: I am married to a wonderful man, Butch, and we just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary July 2012.  We have two amazing children....,.our daughter Addison (Addie) is a Sophomore in High School, and our son Jaxon (Jax) is our big 7th grader.  They are the center of our world!!  We also added a new addition to our family in Janurary 2009.  His name is Charlie, and he is our 3 yr. old puppy.  He is soo much fun and adds ton of laughter to our lives!

OCCUPATION: After a lot of soul searching and praying, I have left my job of 4 yrs. as a Pediatric Nurse at a local Children's Hospital here in KC, and went back to my original roots as a teacher. Before becoming an RN, I taught for 7 years, ranging from ages 2 to Kindergarten. I am now back at a wonderful, private preschool and teaching 3 year olds. They are so funny, smart, and so innocent and honest in what they say......they really make my heart SMILE!!

I am a strong Christian, and try to show my love for Christ through the way I live my life. Being a Christian doesn't mean I cannot have a fun sense of humor....I love all kinds of humor, and laughing is one of the best things in life!

I am honest and expect those in my life to be honest with me, as well!  If I sign up for a swap, whether it be a group swap or one-2-one, you have my word that I will follow through!  "Life" happens to everyone, so please communicate with me and I will do the same!

PLEASE READ I am highly allergic to most perfumes and the smells of  Smoke, Pine/Evergreen, and Lavender!  Thanks in advance for not sending anything that would have these smells! :0) 

My hobbies, besides paper crafting, would have to be dancing, reading, going to the movies, game night with my family, and of course.....SWAPPING!!  My newest hobby is going to estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores to find the latest trinket and turn it into something fabulous.  I love finding things extremely CHEAP and putting my own touch on it to fit into my decor.  I also love to create for others!  Nothing better than giving something to someone you have made from your hands and heart!!

Very excited to find SB and looking forward to meeting some new friends from all around the world!!

What I Pledge!!

FAVORITE MUSIC: I love almost all types of music.  It really depends on my mood at the time.  I love to turn the music up (really loud) when my family is not home, clean the house, and dance around like a fool! I love:Rascall Flats, Sheryl Crow, Katy Perry, Pink, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Nickelback, Michael Jackson, Sting, Def Leppard, Usher, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Van Halen, The Who, Gwen Stefani.....just to name a few!  I also love soundtracks from musicals and many Christian artist!

One of my all time favorite things to do is READ!  I love reading inspirational books and DIY books the most!  I also love Paper Crafts Magazine, People, and Glamour magazines.

Also one of my most favorite things is MOVIES! I especially love going to the movie theater.  Just something about the big screen and a big bucket of popcorn. :0)

Favorite List: Grease, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Notebook, Titanic, Bridges of Madison County, Steel Magnolias, all Adam Sandler,  Will Ferrell, Sandra Bullock, and Reece Witherspoon movies.  These are just my top picks....I love almost any movie as long as it doesn't show children hurting or women being assaulted!

I don't have a lot of extra time for TV (I'd rather be crafting...haha!) but I do like: Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, The Bachelor, The Middle, House, Army Wives, and any medical show.

YES!  Saved the best for last!  I could talk about crafts all day long! My favorite crafts would have to be anything with paper.  I love rubber stamping, card making, scrapbooking, altered items, bag books, tags, and personalized items.

My favorite embellishments would be patterned paper, buttons, patterned ribbon, stickles, rhinestones, half pearls...anything with glitter or that blings is a definite keeper!

My favorite craft companies would be Stampin' Up!, Doodlebug, Whipper Snapper, Inky Antics, Basic Grey, Close To My Heart, Stampin Bella, and Papertrey Ink.

Handmade Cards, Decorated Notebooks, Cute Notecards, Stationary, Patterned Ribbon, Patterned Paper, Buttons, Charms, Handmade Tags, Chipboard, Prima Flowers, Baulbles, Alphabet Letters (stickers), Alphabet Tiles, Punched items, Altered items, Rubber Stamps, Acrylic Stamps, Decorated Matchbooks, Punny items, Personalized items, Candy, Gum, Address Labels, Stamped Images, Deco Tape, Handmade envies...........Please PM me if you would like to trade with me and don't see something on my list.....I may LOVE it and didn't even know it...haha!

Postcards (don't use them), Amigurumi (cute, but no use or room for them), Pine/Evergreen scent, Lavender scent,  Perfumes, Smoke/Cigarettes, Jewelry (like it, but allergic to most metals), Black Licorice, Walnuts & Cashews, Tea (suffer from kidney stones),  Grapefruit, Papaya, and Mango, Dark Chocolate (too bitter), Witchcraft,  Gory things, SciFi, Celestial things, Terot cards, Origami, Nudes, Used items (unless one-2-one swap and messaged first), the dentist, and Snakes!!

THINGS I LOVE: My favorite color is PINK.....bubblegum pink, or medium pink some would call it!

I also love Yellow, Red, and Turquoise...wait...who am I kidding...I love all colors. Even crafting with simple black and white can be stunning.  

Some of my favorite treats/snacks would have to be Twix bars, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Red licorice, Chewy Runts, Andes Mints, Pretzel M&M's, Spearmint Gum, Bubble Gum, Cinnamon candy, and anything with Caramel.  I also love Pistachio nuts, but usually will not buy them for myself because they are too expensive.  LOL! I love Starbucks coffee house, Coke, Dr. Pepper and a good Margarita once in a while.  My favorite type of food would have to be Mexican.  I could eat chips and hot salsa everyday. :0) I also love Italian and Chinese food!

I also love anything with ladybugs, giraffes, penguins, hearts, snowmen, dance/ballerinas, monkeys, elephants, puppies, cupcakes, purses, shoes, Maxine (from Hallmark), candy corns, flip flops, polka dots, or ice cream cones on it!! Also love "K" items or anything with my name on it,  crocheted, fabric, or felt flowers (to wear and/or craft with) old dictionary pages and old sheet music, buttons, glitter, rhinestones, and anything girlie!! I'm also into Shabby Chic Vintage....not so much the "grunge" style.....but more feminine.

My favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas.  I love to decorate the house with all things handmade for the holidays!

STICKER SWAPS I would enjoy receiving 3-D type stickers or glitter stickers are my most favorite. I love cupcake stickers, holiday stickers....Halloween, Christmas,Valentines, Easter, etc., funky flower stickers, and anything girlie....not a big fan of Kawaii/Hello Kitty.....love, love, PINK stickers, too! Thanks!!
