My name is Jess, I am just joining the world of adulthood after finishing my graduate degree. I was born and raised in Indiana. Got my undergraduate in Art and Fashion Design from BSU as well. I find my joys in my friends, crafts and my etsy business. I recently married my partner in June of 2011 (Just a note to my swap partners, please don't let this make you uncomfortable, I'm certainly not, and if I knew you I wouldn't try to make you uncomfortable with it.)

My partner and I live in Indianapolis in a sweet little apartment complex in the woods. We have 3 lovely rabbits named Deloris(Black Lop Eared), Mr. Higgins (Lion Head Rabbit) and Dorian Grey (American Chinchilla Rabbit). I joined swap bot because at the time my life was really dull, all my friends had moved away and I like nothing more than to make things for other people. I've been sending packages and letters to keep in touch with old friends, but have been very discouraged by the lack of response. So I felt this might be a good motivator for all of my craft needs. I LOVE ALL THINGS BRIGHT COLORED and anything to do with goldfish and Rabbits!

Ani Difranco is my absolutely favorite artist in the world. I enjoy most folk music, mostly I love acoustic guitar! In fact I play.

Bitch and Animal, Billy Holiday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Regina Spektor, Tori Amos, Janis Joplin and all the wonderful women singers in the world!

I also adore punk rock, psychobilly, dance music, rockabilly, and jazz. Though I am not a fan of country, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash.

I have way too many craft hobbies! I knit and crochet, I also dye roving, spin roving and dye yarn. I am an artist. I love to draw, colored pencils or water color is generally my medium. I also love chalk pastel. Not a huge fan of oils, but I work with them. I love print making I have taken courses in Lithography, Serigraphy, Intaglio, and relief print making. Relief print making is the only one I keep up with mostly because I do not have access to a studio anymore. I like to paint but only when the muses call. I like book making,writing, collage, art journaling, photography, and I suppose sewing (although it's taken me a while to like it again after college.)

To be honest I enjoy other people's creativity in whatever form it comes.
