Hi my name is Roberta,

I am a children's book illustrator book living in Texas. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember (LOL) but have been pursuing art professionally for about fourteen years. I paint commercial and residential murals and I sometimes I get to paint a theatre set.

I have four kids
I have four birds, two cats, three dogs and a tank full of fish! My constant companion is a black chihuahua named Bella!

I make my own jewelry. I do beading and food charms out of polymer clay. I love anything miniature!

I enjoy sewing. I really get a kick out of making vintage stuffed animals, aprons, anything bohemian to wear or carry, And vintage patterns are a passion.

I can be shy at first, until you get to know me. I guess I'm an introverted extrovert! I like to be busy, busy, busy!

Animals: Bella the Chihuahua (no she doesn't wear dresses) birds of all kinds. Honey bees!

Colors: red, black, pink, white, light blue, avacado green, silver and copper, no gold

Flavors: Vanilla, dark chocolate, cinnamon, all citrus, black licorice, coffee

Scent: Honey, vanilla, single note fragrances

Candy: Cinnamon, black licorice, dark choclate, carmel

Food: I love to cook, especially cupcakes with buttercream frosting, fetticini alfredo, deep dish pizza, coffee and any kind of tea!

Dessert: Cupcakes and vanilla ice cream

Holiday: Christmas and Halloween!

Makeup: lip gloss, compacts and anything sparkly

Movie: Most Favorite movie is, Chocolate', Anything of Tim Burton's, ie) Nightmare Before Christmas, The Princess Bride, Pan's Labrinth

Music: Anything from classical to hard rock. I am usually listening to Dave Matthews, Aerosmith, Jack Johnson, and Loreena McKinnick
