Hello, fellow swappers!

My name is Amanda, and I am a 25-year-old stay at home corporate wife, currently living in the northern United States, dreaming of warm weather and sunshine!

I love everything related to fashion and design. I have my nose in a book more often than not. I watch more movies than is probably normal. I spend an overwhelming amount of time on Pinterest. And I make it a point to travel as often as possible.

My crafting hobbies include painting (acrylic and watercolor), designing and sewing clothing and home decor items, and paper crafting. I'm especially enjoying smash books right now! I love craft supplies, projects, and tutorials, and I will try any craft once!

I don't currently work because my husband's job requires us to move a couple times a year, and moving to new places where I don't know anyone can get lonely. I think swapping will help me to make some new friends, which is always a good thing!

As I said, I often have my nose in a book. I generally read at least one book a week, sometimes more depending on my free time.

My favorite genres are classics (19th century lit is my favorite), historical fiction, science fiction, gothic/horror, and collections of short stories.

I prefer stand alone novels to series, so I generally read lots of different authors, but the authors I read most often are Michael Crichton (RIP!), Stephen King, Anne Rice, and Philippa Gregory.

Genres I tend to avoid are romance, fantasy, young adult, and contemporary chick lit. I know that these are the most popular genres, but I'm just weird like that.

I'm very interested in book swaps of all kinds! I'd love to swap book lists and book related penpal letters, bookmarks, and books themselves. You can never have too many books!
