I am a homeschool mom, retired military spouse. I love crafts of all types. I am currently working on hair bows, Christmas ornaments, and pet toys. We have 5 cats, 2 dogs, 2 Guinea pigs, and 2 Chinchillas in our household. I'm a member of Postcrossing.com as Kskards. My youngest son has a rare genetic disease called Cystinosis so we are into promoting knowledge of the disease and its effects (there's no cure). I have an Instagram account also as kskollections.

I love classic rock. My absolute favorite group is the Eagles! I was lucky enough to get to see them in concert! I also like Bad Company and Elton John. I do like a newer group called the Script. I am very eclectic in my taste. I like music from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, & 80s. I like classical, rock, country, pop. It all depends on my mood.

My favorite author is Robert B. Parker. His Spenser series is my favorite! I also like Raymond Chandler, who happens to be RBP's inspiration. In fact, RBP finished RC's last novel. I named my oldest son Spenser & my next son Parker. I wanted to name my youngest son Chandler but hubby nixed the name. I also read Lillian Jackson-Braun, Carolyn Hart, Mary Higgins-Clark, Laura Childs , JoAnna Carl, Shirley Damsgaard, Madelyn Alt, & Agatha Christie. Mysteries are my favorite genre! I must not forget to add the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books too!

I don't really have a favorite movie or movie genre. I do really like oldies. Some of my favorites include White Christmas, Singing in the Rain, Pillow Talk, Dial M For Murder, & Tammy and the Bachelor. I love Tyrone Power, Gene Kelly, Doris Day, & Grace Kelly. I love the Harry Potter series.

I like the cop/ detective type series. I like NCIS & its spin-offs. I like all of the CSI shows as well. I watch reruns of shows that I liked as a kid, like Emergency, CHiPs, Quincy, & of course Spenser For Hire! I also watch reruns of the Rifleman. Cartoons I like are the "oldies", Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny, etc, plus the new My Little Pony. I dislike most talk shows & reality shows as well as American Idol type shows. I like to watch documentaries and other types like that. I like to learn.

I am what my hubby calls a Jane-of-all-crafts. I don't have one particular craft that I excel at but I like many different things. I am currently working on learning about ATCs. I am making postcards too. I am getting materials to make wooden dolls. I wanna learn to crochet as well. Only thing I can't do is knit, not that I haven't tried many times.

I like many things. Some favorites include cats, bats, dogs, carnations, flowers in general, baking, genealogy, scrapbooks, the Steelers, & the Orioles, & the Phillies. There are many other things but I just can't list them all. I don't want to receive anything religious, political, or explicit. It is not that I have anything against these categories, I just don't want someone to try to push their views on me or anyone else. I don't send items in these categories for the same reason. Since I have very sensitive skin, I don't like anything with a scent.
