We have 3 awesome dogs, a cat and a Bearded Dragon. Our pets are very important to us.

I love camping and recently bought an RV. We spend most weekends during the warmer summer months camping. I love hiking and walking my dogs.

Along with working full time, I'm in school working on my Landscape Architecture degree. I love gardening and working in the yard and helping my friends and families with their yard and gardening needs.

I enjoy watching Ice Hockey and College Football (Go Notre Dame!!!)

Please, please, PLEASE let me know if I have forgotten to rate you. Sometimes my household can get quite hectic, and I want to make sure if you've sent me something, I give you the props you deserve! That, and daughter will grab the mail on occassion, and set it somewhere strange. I have found mail in my house in the strangest places! Dang teenagers! =)

I listen to all kinds of music.

Classic Rock is by far my favorite. Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Jethro Tull, Lynard Skynard, etc.

Rock and Alternative bands from the 90's are also on my iPod favorites list. The Toadies, The Presidents of the United States of America, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, etc.

(Not really a Big Hair Band kinda gal, though)

I like most classical music and even some of the 'Natural Sounds' CD's you find at places like Target and such.

I have an extensive library at home. We LOVE to read. I read almost anything from memoirs to mystery, sci-fi to classics and almost anything in-between. Never really got into the whole 'romance novel' thing though.

I seem to collect books that go along with some of my hobbies.

Anything by Tim Burton. Alice in Wonderland ROCKED! Nightmare Before Christmas has always been my favorite. Corpse Bride, 9, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands. You name the Tim Burton movie, and I've seen it and probably own it.

I also like Vampire and Dracula movies (Long before the Twilight series). I have a teenage daughter, so Twilight or New Moon is on the DVD about once a week...

I like movies that are set in older times. The Victorian era is fascinating to me. O' Brother Where Art Thou?, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, The Count of Monte Cristo, the 2010 version of Sherlock Homes.

Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars.

When I watch TV, I watch HGTV, DIY, Animal Planet, the History Channel and the Discovery Chanel. Holmes on Homes (HGTV) is my FAVORITE show.

My favorite sitcom is The Big Bang Theory.

I LOVE to scrapbook and make cards. (I teach classes on Cardmaking and Scrapbooking during my spare weekends.)

I enjoy drawing, drafting, designing landscapes, watercolors and painting.

I learned how to locker hook a while ago, and have enjoyed the rustic appeal to it. I have made several things for my house with the materials I have.

We have 3 Dogs, a Cat and a Beardie.

Hank is my old-boy, a Mini-Schnauzer who is 8. I picked him from the litter when he was just 5 days old. (Didn't bring him home until he was 10 weeks.) He's the best snuggler in the world. Super smart little guy.

Chico is our 6 year old rescue Tri-Color Chihuahua. He is the apple of my daughter's eye. He is her velcro dog - never leaves her side. He was in very bad shape when we took him in. My plan was to rehabilitate him and place him in a 'forever' home, but he wormed his way into our hearts. It took more than a year to rehab him physically and emotionally. (I've got more than a few choice word for his previous owners and the abuse and neglect they inflicted upon him. However, that would not be appropriate here.)

Minella, my velcro dog and my heart dog. He turned a year old on Thanksgiving 2009. He's a super-small (barely 6 pounds) Min-Pin. I honestly think he believes he's a 75 pound Doberman. =) He loves to do 'zoomies' around the house and play with his food. He and Chico are BFF's. Always aware of where the other one is. So cute!

We have a cat named Beethoven. He turned 12 years old this spring (2010).

And, last but not least...

Tequila is my daughter's Beardie Dragon. He's totally cool and likes to mess with the little dogs when he's out of his habitat and running around the house. We got him when he was just a couple months old, and a tiny little bugger. He's 3 years old now.

I don't like:

Clowns. They seriously give me the creeps.

Realistic spiders or pictures of spiders. I know they're great to have around your home, as they eat other insects, but I'm not a big fan of them. I will not kill them if I see them outside while gardening. Inside is a whole other story though. If they enter the sanctuary of my home, they're done for... (I do like cutsey, Halloween spiders though.)

I am not a big fan of floral scents.

Cigarette Smoke. I'm not allergic, I just prefer to avoid it.

Gold plated anything.

War and Horror movies.

Black Licorice. Ugh.

Mango flavored gum/candy - it smells like cat pee to me.

Cheap dog treats. (One of my boys has a sensitive stomach, so holistic foods with very few ingredients are best.)

Any cruelty or violence towards animals.

Violence in general.
