Hi there!
I'm Bonnie (she/her.) I'm in my 40's, happily married with 2 young and energetic kids. I'm from New York, but we live in Texas. We love getting outdoors, hiking and and bike riding. And now we get to do all that outdoorsy stuff in the winter.
I grew up writing letters to friends and family who didn't live close by, and, after moving to a new part of the country, I got back into the habit and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
I love sending and receiving letters and postcards. I'm not so big on larger packages these days as the clutter seems to pile up quickly.
I always appreciate a decorated envelope, even if it's with lots of stickers. Would love to hear some mundane details about your day, or something funny. A swap that meets requirement is great, and I'm fine with no extras. For those that require a little more, I seem to always have room for one more postcard, washi tape sample or cool sticker sheet (as long as it's not meant for children or planners.)
I prefer interesting, colorful images. Whether it's a touristy pic or a cartoony drawing, if there is some element of cool or fun, I will probably like it. My favorite stamped and naked postcards are the ones the sender has taken extra care to embellish with drawings, stickers, collages, washi tape, fancy lettering, whatever. I also like to swap blank postcards to keep a good variety in my stash. I'm active on Postcrossing, and love having new and different cards to send.
I love a good sticker swap. In general, I prefer artsy, hand-drawn images over cutesy and kawaii. I'm a fan of Pipsticks, Stickki Club and Four Bears brands. My favorite themes are Animals (especially the ones that have beautiful patterns in them,) Nature (trees, flowers, mushrooms, leaves, clouds, celestial,) and Seasonal (ie. umbrellas, ice cream, cozy coffee, snowmen.) Themes I tend to pass along are fashion, people's faces, self care, furniture and stickers with words.
This is a work in progress : )

So glad to have you with us!
Hi Bonnie! Aww that makes me so happy to hear that enjoyed your album! Gnomes are the best, I had so much fun making it! :-)
Hi Bonnie. Oh my gosh! The Stickers Around The World Postcard Swap #25 from you is absolutely one of my most favorite swaps. First of all, your envelope was decorated beautifully. It’s a work of art in itself. It is definitely going to my journal. And the Trader Joe’s card and stickers are icing on the cake. I love it all. It is a perfect swap in every way. Thank you. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Welcome to Sunshine Swaps!
Thank you for the extra postcards you sent me! I’m so happy the original package finally showed up. I appreciate it! :)
