Hello, my name is Virginia, from Santiago, capital city of Chile, a very long and narrow country in South America with only 17 million people. I'm forty-something, but my heart and my spirit are still very young, I feel very young and full of energy. I am very happy with my life.

My native language is Spanish and my English is intermediate, so I try hard to express myself best in English, should I go often to the translator of Google, so I apologize to the eventual grammatical errors I can make, I hope you understand me.

I am an electronic engineer, but I'm not working by now, I'm in one sabatic year (two, really). I´m married and I and I have a son who is a medical, but he lives with his girlfriend in Talcahuano, a harbor in south of Chile. I´m a catlover, doglover, runner and fitness girl.I have three pets: Bruno, a black male dog. Felipe, a white and red male cat, and Florencia, a black and white female cat. All of them rescued from the streets. I love them (husband, son and pets) with all my heart.

I am a person who is constantly learning, so I love it when you write me or send me something, you tell me things about your country, your city, your culture and everything your love of your country, things like tourist attractions, historical places, traditional food, national emblems, dancing national, important people, etc.

I love traveling, reading, knitting, puzzles and jigsaw, handcrafts, gardening, among other things. I like to jogging every morning and lead a healthy and active life. Take care of my diet, avoid eating too much fat and sugar, I try to eat as healthy as possible. I spend 1 to 2 hours a day to sports and fitness, Monday through Friday.

I am a very organized and super responsible person, so I promise to send my swaps always on time and respecting all rules, without exception, I will not let you down. If ever there is a problem with the deadline, I'll let you know and if time passes and you have not received what I sent, please notify me to see that I can do, and resend if necessary.

I am excited about the idea of participating in swaps with different people throughout the world. So far I've only participated in Postcrossing successfully, and I think it is time to move to the next level. I appreciate all things you send me, if you choose especially for me sure I like, I´m not too picky. For my part, I pledge to choose with great effort the things I swap, I imagine that you enjoy as much as I received a surprise of someone somewhere, I hope to put a big smile on your face when you receive my swaps.

TEA... I LOVE TEA... teabags always are a good surprise... but please, DO NOT PUT GLUE in the bags, collect them and usually when they come with glue, adhesive tape or similar, they are damaged ...

Postcards (mainly tourist type, but I love them all. Written and stamps, If you can). Only storebought, not handmade, not zazzle, not ad postcard please.

At the moment I began to collect postcards of the 50 states of the USA, that have the name of the state in the front, ALL WILL BE WELCOME. Currently I am missing these states: Arkansas, North Dakota, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Virginia and Wyoming.

Bookmarks: storebought only, not handmade, not ad/free please.

Tea: mainly black flavored (chai, vanilla, chocolate, berries, apple, mango, coconut, banana, pear, fruits in general). Also can be white tea, green tea, red tea, rooibos or herbal tea. I HATE Pu-erh tea and gingseng tea.

Coffee bags: mild flavored (vanilla, caramel, amaretto, capuccino, among others), regular, with all the caffeine (no decaffeinated please).

Stickers: butterflies, animals, kawaii animals, flowers, fruits, cartoons, girlys, birds, farm animals, anything cute. Please not freak stickers, I am more tradicional and classic in this matter.

Postage stamps (unused)

Stationery stuff, all types. Cute pos it.

Washi tape, all the time, I love washi.

Shaped, fashion, original paper clips.

Cases, purses, cute things in general.

Magnets from differents countrys or beautiful designs, I collect them.

DIY: I also love craft supplies for mail art, scrapbooking, origami, others

Body creams, body lotions, hand creams or lotion, soaps, very aromatic.

Minions... I really love them!

Favorite colors: purple or violet, fuchsia, light blue.

Favorite flavor: vanilla

FAVORITE THEME: CATS

I prefer not to receive things related to religions or politics of any kind, I think that's something very personal and it causes many problems in the world. I do not want it in my swaps.

Don't send me makeup, I use very little and use only my favorite brands.

Jewelery, I am allergic to everything metal except gold and silver, I don't use bijouterie.

Nail polish or nail accessories, for my job I can not nail enameling.

Don't send me food (snacks, cookies, candy, chocolates), nothing with sugar. I'm 100% sugar free and low carb.

Pop, dance, house music, indie pop, 80s music. My favorites are: Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, One Republic, Ellie Goulding, Avicii, David Gueta, Flo.Ri.Da, Pitbull, among hundreds more.

I am an avid reader, I take all timeouts in the subway to read as many novels possible. I like black novel in general, especially the Swedish crime novel. Also fiction and fantasy novel, romantic novel.

Favorite authors: Stephen King, Stieg Larsson, Camilla Lackberg, Ãssa Larsson, Anne Rice, Agatha Christie, Erle Stanley Gardner, George Simenon, Elizabeth Kostova, Roberto Ampuero.

I am not very fan of movies or cinema, but some that I liked a lot: Finding Nemo, Gladiator, The Bodyguard, Matrix, among others.
