I am taking a break from swapping. I had a great time here and I possible will be back some time later. My main goal for 2012 is to live a life more quiet and try to not have to much on my plate. I wish you all a happy and funfilled new year.

I consider myself a reliable person. When I decide to join a swap, I will carry it out. When I mark send, than you can be sure, that I did send on that day. If it get´s lost on the way, that is something I can not control.

So please, if you are waiting for my mail and it is overdue, contact me and we will sort this out, before rating me a 1.

Note: Germany uses "DD.MM.YYYY" date format, so postmark "03.02." is February 3rd, not March, 2nd

I live in the northwest of Germany and I´m a full-time worker. I have two children (age 20 (girl) and 25 (boy)) and a boyfriend. No pets. If I had enough time to spend with one, I would have a dog again.

I have been living in Canada for three years and my youngest one was born over there.

I love my garden. For me gardening is something relaxing, where I could hang on to my thoughts, while picking weeds. Anyway my bones and my muscles sometimes tell me something different ;-)

I like to decorate my house throughout all seasons, but especially for christmas time. I like to lit candles and lanterns in the wintertime. It makes everything looking so cosy. Okay, lit candles I like all year round. My saying is: "One can never have enough teacandleholders"

My favorite colour is blue and my lucky number is seven. Other than that I like pastell colours and at christmas time of course green, red and orange. I am not so fond of bright neon colours.

I´m not so much into frills, overly decorated things and all this cutsy kawaii stuff. No offence meant, but this is just not me.

I do not smoke and my household is also nonsmoking environment. I am not allergic, but I have a good noose on lingering smoke. If I recieve from a smoker, please try to keep the odor as low as possible. Anyway, I would not rate down because of the smell ;-)

There is no special band I like best. Normally I listen to a rock/pop radiostation. So I am more into the actuell songs.

To the disappointment of my boyfriend, I don´t like jazz.

The music depends on the mood I´m in. Sometimes it needs to be rock, sometimes a song to sing along, sometimes anything romantic and sometimes only background music.

I like crime and fiction. My favorite authors are

Minette Walters, Henning Mankell, John Grisham, Karin Slaughter.

Lately I have read the four Twilight books and the three books from Stieg Larsson.

And of course I love garden books. Not only the ones about plants and how to tend to them, but mostly the ones about great gardens like Sissinghurst in the UK etc.

I have no special genre (but no horror). Whenever there is a good film made of a book I have read, I like to see it.

At the moment I like to watch Criminal Intend, CSI and some german cook shows.

Did I say yet, that I love gardening? :-)

I like to do cross-stich, to sew once in a while and lately I started to knit again. I like to make handmade cards and discovered ATC's. What a new challenge to get creative!

Rubber stamps and embossing

I started to get interested in scrapbooking and bought some books to get inspired. I also started to make travel journals for upcoming travels and already taken trips.

Little things and embellishments to use for papercrafts and scrapbooking are always welcome.

I am the proud owner of a BigShot now and I am very very happy with it.

I am not very interested in Kawaii-Items and Dotee. I am sure, those things are wonderful too, but unfortunatly I have no use for them. (Don´t want to step on anyone´s toes) ;-)

I like chocolates and I hate liquorice. I´ll die for Reeses Peanutbuttercups :-))) Thanks to all my lovely and thoughtful partners, who spoiled me with sending the Reeses. I discoverd a new store, who sells them for a reasonably price, so I can get them here now.

I´m a teadrinker, because regular coffee disagrees with my stomach . However, those italienstyle coffes like Latte Macchiato e.g. which come from the machines I never have problems with. Who knows why -shrug- ;-)

I like most kinds of tea, but with roiboos I have the same problems as with regular Coffee. In a swap I recieved a sample of Good Earth Sweet and Spicy Original. That tea was very delicious. A bag of this once in a while would make my day.

I really like the instant hot drinks you can get in the States like Swiss Moccha, Vienna Cream, Swiss Miss Chocolates (best with Marshmallows) We do not have a wide variety of hot chocolates here and the ones we have are not so tasteful as the ones I know from the states.

I would like to get some vintage inspired items.

As stated above, I like dogs. Especially dachshunds. My grandparents had one I grew up with and my first one was a dachshund too

I will add to this list, whenever something crosses my mind.
