Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm a mom to 2 beautiful girls (Corrie-Lynn, 4 years and Emily, 3 years). Married 5 years to my wonderful DH Rob. We have a dog (Buddy, black lab), lots of fish, and some neighbourhood cats that like to visit. Family is my world! I love cats but am currently not allowed any in the house. Love dogs too (black labs and huskies). My camera is so often attached to me that it is almost a permanent extension of my hand but I don't post pics or have a flickr account because we're on dial-up out here in the boonies! I work in a plastics manufacturing company full-time and love my job. I love randomness. I love to laugh. I love colour. I love tear bears. I love sarcastic humour. I love picture frames. Dirty humour is fun too. I love monograms and things personalized with my name. I love swapping and have been a part of a Canadian Scrapbooking Swapping board for about 3 years. I am always prompt and pack well. I rate as soon as I receive.

I constantly have music around me. I love oldies, dance, R&B, country, rock.... and pretty much anything else. Not such a fan of gospel, "elevator music", or opera.

Reading is a favourite hobby of mine and I will read most books. I love Dean Koontz, James Rollins, Nicholas Sparks, Nora Roberts, Clive Cussler, V.C. Andrews and so many more!

I'm not a huge movie watcher, but I've been watching more lately. Some that I like are: Dirty Dancing, Grease, Rounders, Pool Hall Junkies, Entrapment, Batman: Dark Knight.

I try not to watch too much TV but I'm a reality show junkie. I love Survivor, Idol, So you Think You Can Dance, Extreme Home Makeover and Biggest Loser. I catch the occassional episode of CSI, Numbers, Ghost Whisperer, Desperate Housewives and Two and a Half Men. Love stand-up comedy! And I try to catch the Leaf games when I can.

I am a scrapbooker and a stamper. Have been for about 9 years. Love it! Things I can use include: fabric pieces, stickers (especially letters), chipboard shapes, ribbon (any length), papers, rub-ons, inks (would love to try Staz-on and alcohol ink) coloured pens, flowers of all kinds, any unique embellishments, clock faces, vintage emphemera, stamps (nothing cutesy though please!) and pretty much any other unique goodies you can find.

I love colour! Favourite combos include: Red, Black and White or Cream Purple and Bright Green (usually for Emily) Pink and Black or Yellow (usually for Corrie-Lynn) Monochromatic Blues Not too big on oranges and greys.

I love Valentine's Day! Christmas is our biggest celebration and the most favourite time of year. Birthdays are big too, we celebrate 5 brithdays in February alone! Not into Easter so much so please no Easter-themed things, thanks!

I collect heavy glass (Chalet glass). Unique Christmas ornaments. Small unique vases. Silver (not neccessarily real silver) jewellery. Socks (funny and/or fluffy). Sexy undies (a big medium or small large). Decorations for my gardens (fairies, gargoyles, frogs/toads, but no mushrooms please!). Bird feeders. Bird houses. Scented candles.

I love it when people think of my family. Hubby is a mind-puzzle nut, loves sudoku and little brain-teaser toys. The girls love anything "princess", and all things crafty. Emily's favourite colour is blue. Corrie-Lynn loves pink. I'm not into Disney stuff and won't use it, but the girls love it so only send if you're looking to score points that way :)

I need some kind of interesting wall decorations for my scrap room (handmade is ok). Colours aren't important as long as they follow my favourites above. I love picture frames, altered or not!
