Please alert me if you do not receive anything before rating poorly. I have had people I have not received from who had to resend and have also received letters from Texas 3 weeks later. Also, I am trying to avoid going to the post office in person when I can so have been weighing letters and such at home. I try to include extra postage when in doubt but if for some reason something arrives postage due PLEASE let me know and I will make it right, thanks!

I an new to swapping but enjoy writing snail mail letters and paper crafting.

I am a 41 y/o married female from Pennsylvania. I have 2 grown step-daughters, 1 adopted daughter and 6 grandchildren ages 1-18. I have three dogs, two Labradors and a Rottweiler.

One of my daughters is actually a former sponsor child from Ecuador. I was matched to her when she was 15 years old and going through a really difficult time in her life. We wrote regular letters during her time in the program and I visited her twice. After she graduated and it was permitted she found me on Facebook and we developed a VERY close relationship. Her father passed away when she was young and her mother doesn't have a cellphone and lives in an area without public phone or utilities so I became her surrogate parent. This amazing relationship grew even closer when she got married and was expecting her first baby. Now, 2 years and two visits with her later, I am just "Madre", she is my "hija" and I am "abuela" to her amazingly adorable 1 yr old baby boy who is the light of my life. Nothing is better at the end of the day than receiving a phone video of him saying hello.

I love learning about new cultures and sampling new foods. I love coffee, tea and chocolate.

I am interested in animals, travel, genealogy and history.

I fell in love with Reggaeton music during a past trip to Honduras.

I also listen to contemporary Christian music. I know, quite eclectic tastes!

I love reading, especially historical fiction.

I enjoy books written in/about the Regency period in England and Jane Austen is my favorite author.

I love tea in all its many flavors and forms, but my absolute favorites are Oolongs. My least favorite are "grassy" greens. No allergies.

I LOVE stationary, and local purchasing options are limited, so I always enjoy receiving matching letter sets or even matching notecard and envelope.

My favorite "theme" for stationary is vintage.

Washi- I have received quite a few samples and bought some of my own and cannot get enough. Solid, patterned, thin, thick, I love it all.

K-Dramas are also my new COVID addiction. I have been limiting my watching to only on my tablet on the treadmill to help curb my binging of these or I could easily watch 3-4 episodes in a row and my family would never see me.
