EDIT: I'm moving on March 16th, looks like, so I shortened the due date instead of cancelling the swap. Hopefully this will allow me time to get the swap out, instead of having ALL my materials packed away, as well as time for items to get to me. There are still 4 weeks to make these items, though! My swaps are changing for 2024, so please read the details. (This note will probably remain until March.) Please do not comment on any swaps. SB does NOT alert hosts. Message us directly! Make 3 items for journal decoration. These can be paper clips, junk journal charms, tags, clusters, etc. Because it's a project-based item, angel-ing is difficult for me. Ratings must be 4.5+ with NO 1s in the past year. Please have completed at least 5x "level 3" swaps since Jan 2023. Thanks! One partner, USA only. ================ THE CHALLENGE: EACH PERSON COMMENT THEIR TOP 3 COLOURS USED WHEN SIGNING UP. You will make 3 decor items that use your partners' colours! What you make is up to you. What does that mean? If my partner, Sarah, likes blue, pink, and absinthe, I will make items that are blue and pink. I will try to get as close as possible to absinthe but that's a fairly specific shade, and I may not have papers or ribbons that exact colour. Yellows and yellow-greens that get close to the colour will be acceptable. However, "hot pink" and "pastel pink" ARE wildly different and easily accessible. Use your best discretion and message your partner with questions. Bonus if you include the names of youtube channels with tutorials to use! <3 I love learning to make new things. Because this is a craft-related swap, postage will likely EITHER be over 2oz OR it will be thicker than 1/4". USPS considers either one a package, and the item WILL arrive with postage due. Also, edges of the envelope can wear and tear from sorting machines, so please reinforce those envelopes. The project must include handmade elements. No running off printables or covering something with stickers. You can send more items if you want but it isn't required. Include your name and swap name, or your partner might not know what swap it's for. Try your best! Like Neil Gaiman said, "make good art." Any art that is made is good art. When you get an item, remember that the other person probably also did their best. Their best may not be the same as your skill level. Please rate well. Remember that all responses should be on positive aspects of art received: did you like the colour palette used? Do you recognise a camera-related visual effect, like the 'rule of 3s'? Let the artist know! Have fun! Make mistakes! Get messy! And then mail the item out! |
