RAK Destash #6 - July

The only plans I have are to grill at home. Burgers and hot dogs for lunch and steaks for dinner. Also potato salad, corn on the cob and 🍉 watermelon.

My July 4th plans are to stay home and get some outside time with the dog in the morning before it gets too hot and then stay inside to avoid the heat wave that continues east of the coast. I just got dentures so I can't eat much holiday food and there's a burn ban so there won't be any fireworks, so I guess it will be like a regular day and then no mail to look forward to the next day. But I hope everyone who is celebrating has a lovely day and stays safe!

I am actually on a medical leave from work for another month, so I have doing swaps on swap-bot to pass the time. Since this is my first 4th of July in a long time where I am actually not working, I will be spending it with my family and my cute little nephews. The plan is to cook out and just enjoy the outside. We do have some rain in the forcast, so hopefully the weather holds up. Happy 4th and thanks for being kind!

I will not be doing anything for the fourth this year because my dachshund baby just got spayed yesterday so she is in recovery! My husband and I are thinking if she will be okay to take to fireworks tomorrow, as she's starting to feel more like herself and she does not seem to be scared by loud noises!

How fun - I still work on my journals/collages & swaps - For the 4th, I plan to have hot dogs/deviled eggs/potato chips/cold drinks - the city is having our firework display tonight...

We will be attending our church service at 8:30 am and our annual town parade at 11! We plan to grill at home and just relax the rest of the day! Looking forward to a low-key holiday! 💕🇺🇸Debbie

My family doesn't do much on the fourth of July so it will be mostly a normal day until thr evening comes and we sit on the porch and watch the fireworks they shoot off at the library.

We'll be having a simple day of burgers and watching the fireworks from afar. Aloha

My three year anniversary with my boyfriend is on July 5th so we will celebrate on July 4th, that way we have our actual anniversary off work. I'm not very patriotic so I don't mind missing out on the fourth celebrations. I do like the fireworks though. Thankfully you can see them from anywhere.

The hubby and I will be staying at home this year again. However we have a fantastic view of fireworks from our 6th floor fire escape and will sit in the window and watch the grand show from the comfort of our home in our pj's! Hope everyone has a fun and safe Holiday!

I will be holed up in my little room with the volume up on my music, trying to keep my quivering dog and hiding cat consoled, and worrying about the cat I couldn't find to come in. I do not like fireworks! Even though they are illegal it doesn't stop anyone around here from enjoying 3 hours of NON-stop blasts and bombs, shrills and shrieks. This will continue every night ( to a lesser degree) for the next few weeks, at least!

We usually go up to our cabin for the 4th, but this year we just wanted to stay at home. We knew we would be doing yard work and having a BBQ. Nice, quiet and relaxing.

This July 4th, we gathered as a family for a cookout at our house! We had bought fireworks, and my nephew brought over TONS of fireworks he purchased. Our neighbors apparently all had the same idea and it was a whole neighborhood fireworks show!

We had a BBQ and swimming party at our home with my girls and their grandparents! We then kept them up late (9pm is late for a 2 and 4yr old!) and went to see some fireworks. They were more impressed with the snacks I brought than the fireworks! haha

This 4th of July I went to an annual family cookout. We usually swim and have fireworks as well. It was so nice to see everyone that I haven't seen in a while.
