My son is almost two and just loves to draw and paint. He also loves stickers (trains, cars, animals, trucks). Any items are welcome. He will grow into the art supplies so age appropriate is nice but not necessary.

My twin sons are 6 years old and LOVE "doing art!" This is a fabulous idea for a swap. They really like gluing things to paper to make collages(sp?) so anything like that is a huge hit. They can always use more paper (plain or colored), we really go through it. We already have too many crayons and more than enough play dough so, we don't really need anymore of those. But, like our favorite saying goes, "You get what you get, (the kids chime in here) and you don't throw a fit!!" Some of their preferences are listed in my profile, if my partner needs any more ideas, feel free to PM me, I'm happy to help. Oh, we have been looking for a replacement roll of paper for their easel for months but, I have no idea how much that might cost to purchase much less ship. It's probably too much for this swap but, if anyone knows where I can find one or wants to do a private swap for one please PM me.

I LOVE this swap idea :) I have two boys (2&3) - My youngest has fine motor skill delays, so chunky crayons & pencils are awesome!!! My 3 year old loves all things art - cutting, gluing (glue sticks), coloring, and painting by far is his all time favorite!!! They both love stickers & all colors :) We are also a food allergy home so please no playdough.

I have an 8 year old daughter. She loves to make things out of boxes and decorate them. She would like any kind of embelishments that she can use to decorate her creations. She has plenty of play-doh and color crayons.

My boy is almost 2 and we haven't done much crafting beyond drawing with crayons and pencils but I know that he'll love everything he tries!

So anything that is ages 2 and up will work because he can always use it later. :D

And if it's too young, well, he has a younger brother who can always grow into it lol

This is such a great swap! As soon as I'm done with another swap, I'm signing up for this one! My daughter, age 4, LOVES to craft and LOVES to get her own mail! What a surprise it would be to have her come home from school and have a package waiting for her!

I have 2 girls, ages 5 and 3. They can always use more markers. Colored paper and paints. We have plenty of colors and don't really need more playdough. They love stickers. The little one loves to cut so anything she can cut up would be great. They also like making ATCs. They also like the glitter glazes (either in tubes or in little tubs). They will be happy getting anything. They love mail.

My daughter is 9 and will honestly love anything you send her... my only request is no playdoh, the carpets seem to think it's delicious.

My kids are 6, 4 and 2. They love anything crafty, especially sticky stuff like tape and stickers. Collage stuff too. Mom really likes no-mess paint applicators and the like!

I have four kids...1,3,6,and 10. Anything is fine, they really like creating stuff.

I'm sorry I have to drop this swap, my kids would have loved getting this package. My husband has been laid off for almost two months and the mom I do daycare for just went on maternity leave. Needless to say, money has become incredibly tight. Hopefully I'll be able to find a similar swap when things get better.

I'm going to have to drop out of this swap. Sorry.

How wonderful! My 2 little girls (1.5 and 2.5) LOVE to do anything art related. Play-doh, coloring, drawing, etc. My preference would be towards washable crayons and markers. Otherwise - open to anything!

my life has gone to $#!+ so I have to pull out, sorry

My daughters are 5 1/2 and 7 1/2 years old. They like to do craft projects - especially artist trading cards and making their own handmade books. Things like decorative paper, scrapbooking type items, brads, etc. are things they LOVE to work with. We have plenty of crayons, colored pencils, and markers so the girls don't need more of those items. With the holidays coming up...anything Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas themed would be exciting for them. My profile also lists things that each daughter enjoys. Thank you!

Hi! My daughter is nearly 8, and loves to draw, do origami, and do paper crafts in general. She has a business making beaded earrings, and always loves to get beads. But these are suggestions, and she will love to get whatever you'd like to send!

aleciagrimm 09/23/2008 #

My younger children are 4 & 6 and love anything related to: stickers, pom poms, play doh, pipe cleaners, googely eyes, fun foam, oragami, and like the poster above: anything seasonal would be fantstic- halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, etc.
