Comment: Great job on the envelope (and your MPP)! Man, your new typewriter is so sharp. I'm sure its partly the ribbon (I have to get a new one before I can do my letter), but I wonder if electrics tend to look more crisp. I have to get used to my manual typewriter every time - it's so physical after typing on a computer keyboard all day. I, too, learned on a Selectric. Then I got lucky - my parents scored a used one for me from 3M company when they sold a bunch of them. Truly the Cadillac of typewriters. I got rid of it a while ago - maybe 10 years. But after years of mourning the loss (I never used it anymore, but I MISSED it), I have gotten a small Smith-Corona Skyriter travel typewriter. It's totally encased in metal and very small, so I can have a typewriter, and some space too. P.S. I'm putting your letter in a pile for responses.

They say that most every "first day of issue" card they see now is cancelled, then sent in a cellophane envelope. I really don't want to do that cuz then it's NOT a postcard.
