I am a retired secretary- bookkeeper for a fresh fruit packing business in Colo. I was born in Kansas and moved to Colorado when I was 11. Kansas holds a special place in my heart. Two of my sisters and two nieces encouraged me to join swap-bot as they enjoy it so much. I've been married to my best friend for 50 years. We have 2 daughters, 1 son, 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.

I like the older country and gospel music with the Statler Bros., The Oak Ridge Boys, Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Conway Twitty and George Jones being some of my favorites. I especially like listening to our local Golden Oldies radio station.

My favorite authors include Debbie Macomber, Nickolas Sparks, Sherryl Woods, Susan Wiggs and Diane Chamberlain. I like fiction and romance. I don't like science fiction, horror, fantasy, or war stories.

Hallmark movies, chick-flicks, and romance movies are my favorite. I especially like all the movies based on Nickolas Sparks books. I don't like science fiction, horror, fantasy, or war movies.

I like game shows, Biggest Loser, Survivor, and especially the Colorado Rockies baseball games.

I like embroidering, scrapbook ing, card making, making book marks. I have made simple quilts and plan to make more. I have a large collection of fabric that I bought while I was working and didn't have time to sew. I want to learn new crafts too.

I like miniature dolls, frogs, ladybugs, turtles, butterflies, vintage quilts, postcards, hand made cards that I receive, and flowers, especially sunflowers, pansies, daisies and petunias. My favorite colors are shades of lavender, teal, burgundy and pink.

I love to receive postcards. Some of my favorites are map cards, flowers, birds, butterflies and bugs, animals, barns, windmills, mountains, waterfalls, scenery, anything about your state, or any card you would like to send. I like most cards but not obscene or X rated.
