Hi everyone, I'm from Virginia in the United States, I live in a very small town and have for my entire life. I love getting mail it makes me happy and I love sending mail. I think I enjoy putting together something to mail as much as I like receiving something back. I have two very spoiled cats who adore getting into things and are therefore banned from my creative space, but they don't listen to me so more often then not they are hanging around my craft table. I also have a big lab mix who is a slight kleptomaniac when it comes to socks.

I'm into an expanding list of hobbies but they are mainly arty and crafty, I'm not the type of person to be jumping out of a plane. I recently discovered water-brushes for my watercolors, where have they been all my life? I like drawing and have gotten into zentangle. I like watercolors and colored pencils as well. I go through colorless blender markers and pencils like crazy so if you have an extra one you don't use send it my way. I have been introduced to so many new crafts thanks to this site. Some of my current interests are:

• smash books
• hand carved stamps
• drawing, watercolors, acrylic paint, oil pastels, I'm willing to try it if it can make a mark on paper
• does nail art count as a craft?
• I sew, badly but I sew

• postcards, handmade and store bought

I 'm a nail art fanatic, my nails haven't been unpainted in about a year. I have a rediculous collection of polishes, I have over 300 at current count.

I'm a paper lover. I love the way it looks and everything you can do with it.I love interesting things bits of this and that, little old playing cards, old tickets, interesting vintage ads, old pages from books and magazines, and beautiful illustrated children's book pages. I think the classy word for this paper junk is ephemera. Collector of bits and bobs, love little bits of paper most people throw away my scrap box is ever growing and I love to collage. I have been turned on to washi tape thanks to swap bot and I'm loving it so far. Its so much fun.

Love bright colors and old sci-fi movies, old monsters, zombies (my latest obsession is The Walking Dead), and Godzilla, fairy tales from around the world and the art that goes with them, Kermit the Frog, fountain pens and ink, handwriting, black and white and bright colors, kawaii and the sea, stickers, shaped paperclips and did I mention nail polish, what can I say I'm hard to define. I'm always on the hunt for pens, my collection of pens is absurd, but I love them. I'm now a fountain pen convert and I love how I can buy a bottle of ink and switch colors when I want and use the ink with a paint brush for art. I'm really liking the postcard swapping especially the unusual cards and if anyone out there has a Johnny Cash postcard and they send it to me they will become my hero. Update I got a Johnny Cash postcard!!! Thank you!!
