I am a middle school art teacher (it is a crazy place full of hormones and preteen angst-never a dull moment).

Outside of school, I dabble in a variety of art, spend time with friends and family, read, and travel.

My favorite place to be/visit is the beach-it's a happy place-very therapeutic.

Favorite Crafts

I am a big time doodler. Just give me a blank sheet of paper and a nice black pen and I can occupy myself for quite awhile. Whenever my kids (students) see me without paper and pen, they get concerned.

Bookmaking is another passion of mine. I have so many sketchbooks and travel journals that it has become a little out of control : )

I enjoy knitting- especially in the colder months of winter. I also sew; patchwork quilts are my favorite to make.

I LOVE creating Mail Art-super fun and great opportunity to try a new technique, media, or design.

I enjoy doodle-stitching which is basically free hand embroidery/doodling with embroidery thread.

I am really into creating what I call "visual collages." It involves layering painting drawing and stamping.

Comment: 3+ years and finally getting a rating to you! I do feel bad and I am embarrassed about it also. I have been on an emotional roller coaster and I am hoping that it has finally came to an end. Life is not always fair. But we will survive! A while back, I promised myself to make right all the people and ATC's I have neglected to complete. It has been bugging me, as this has never been how I usually handle things. A few days late possibly, but always completed. I am so sorry about this and I do hope that this long awaited rating, will bring your paperwork to a 100% close at for anything I still owe you. If there is something else that you are missing from me, please let me know asap. Again ... Sorry!!!
