I like swapping, receiving and sending mail. I like crafting, I'm interested in knitting, crocheting, jewelry making, especially Steampunk crafting-watch parts, cogs, wheels, spy glasses, etc-so I'm looking for materials to start those crafts. I like swapping mail bags~mainly goodie/stamp/fun bags. -I'm a member of Bags of Fun group, if you're unsure of what mail bags are.

Recently, I've been having a lot of health issues. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and diabetes. I'm not used to having health problems and a lot of pain, I'm having to adjust to that. I'm a CNA in geriatric care. I've been a vegetarian for the longest time now. I'm in a committed relationship with my girlfriend, since 1990 and we have 3 doggies and a cat, they're all rescues. Our furbabies are awesome.

I write fiction stories, mostly romance and typically short stories. I love taking photographs. I recently acquired a really awesome digital Canon camera, love it! I love all things coffee! I like tea, surfing the web, reading, sleeping teehee!

I like to swap/receive:
BOOKS-no older than 10 years, gently used is fine-dark urban/fantasy/romance
COFFEE-I prefer coffees without any flavoring-no nuts, or fruit
TEA-no loose tea, just individually sealed packets, I like black tea, black tea blends, smoked teas, if I have to choose something like Russian Tea, what keeps you warm in the winter. Flavorings I would say NO to passion, tropical berry flavors
FOOD-I like chocolate-especially milk chocolate, no fruit, some nuts are okay. I love tea biscuits or cookies you can have with your tea or coffee-like almond or cashew cookies, or cookies dipped in chocolate. I like trying new snacks, like bar mix or tasty crackers or what have you. I don't have any allergies but all I ask is if you send ANY FOOD-please send them individually sealed from the manufacturer, thank you.
ALL LIVING THINGS-I like owls, dolphins, trees, sun/moon, I don't like anything that exploits animals~circus, animal experiments.

I like bookmarks (with unique designs, Japanese, Egyptian, etc), dark colored, stripy or other designed size 9 socks. I also like art, paintings, crafts, scarves, I think I have a fascination with toe socks.

More LIKES: music mix cds, messenger bags, pens, stationery, stickers & notebooks/journals. Unique glass items, body oils. I also love going to yard sales and seeing/buying people's stuff. I collect stones - I really need the grounding - my interests/favorites: Crystals-big, clear, jagged. Green-the darker the better, especially if they're clear. Purple-especially dark. Blood stones. Stones that are not necessarily tumbled, and if they're veiny that's awesome. I like stones that seem to have pictures in them naturally or that are unique

DISLIKES - If you send me food or drink items, please be aware that I am a VEGETARIAN and that there are no animal byproducts in something you may send-thanks! I don't like coconut anything, fruit & nut flavored coffee, I don't like anything that tries to sway my religious or political view.

Things that I'm totally OKAY with receiving - Nudes (as in postcards from the '20s or artsy ones, etc), curse words in songs or books, used things... I try to be open-minded about a lot of things.

Colors I like are:

Dark shades of colors (like cobalt, hunter green, cinnamon, vermilion + rich carmine). Blends, patterns, '70s decor. Purple, saffron, rich brown, orange, deep red, gold & black. There are other colors I like but I just wanted to quickly add some here.

Colors I really don't like: Pastels, neons, milky colors.
