Description:

This swap is designed with those of you in mind who are a little unsure about mail art or joined this group to experiment, learn something new and want to see what all the fuss is about!

In order to make this fun for everyone, this is going to be half and half: senders should make an effort to interpret the interests posted below in the comments section by their assigned swap partner.

How will this work?

Once you sign up, take a moment to post 5-10 keywords, themes, colors or random things in the comments section. Try to keep it simple and accessible so that everyone can participate and it's easy for your swap partner to pick up to 3 different themes/keywords and create a mail art envie with those items in mind.

The theme should be evident/obvious on the FRONT of the envie: please make sure to decorate, draw, sketch, collage or use whatever medium you like to make this a fun, entertaining swap for your partner.

Your envie should be at least 5x7; it can be store-bought or hand-your partner to receive. PLEASE REMEMBER to make sure that you have correct postage - unusual-sized/shaped envies incur additional postage. Also, I highly recommend taping envies with clear packing tape (I pretty much tape my entire envies), which goes a long way to keep them "safe" in transit and gives them a much better chance of arriving intact at their destination.

Unacceptable: just slapping a couple of stickers on it or one stamped image etc. made. Most if not all of the entire front of the envie should be decorated.

Please include a note for your partner (and, if you like, a surprise as well but this is optional for this swap).

As always, general group/swap rules apply - see forum for details. If you have any questions and/or concerns, feel free to PM me!
