27th August 2007 I'm taking a break from swapping for a while. Thanks to everyone for making this such a fun experience and also a big thankyou to all my swap partners for all their efforts and wonderful packages that they have sent me.

I'm 26 years old from Melbourne, Australia. I adore cats and have a rather spoilt, white fat cat as seen in the pic. I love animals (especially polar bears - they are cute as! love Knut!) and flowers (favourite are magnolias). I enjoy going to the beach, swimming, gardening, pilates and shopping. I adore anything with hearts on it as well as strawberries and bears (a little obvious I know!) and I'm definately a bit of a 'girly' girl with a penchant for lovely pretty things even if they are rather unpractical!

~Likes~ animals (cats, polar bears, penguins, hippos, bears), strawberries (things with strawberries on them and strawberry flavoured/scented items), heart print items, lipglosses (love pots of gloss or ones that come in little tins but am not a fan of the ones in tubes), tea cups and saucers sets (I collect floral vintage style ones), fabric ribbons (particularly grosgrain), hello kitty, handmade papers esp. marbled papers and japanese yuzen paper

~Things I would rather not receive~ plastic beads, figurines (I don't really know what to do with these...), tea (b/c of the likelihood of it being confiscated by Australian customs!), bath and body products (I find that I already receive enough from friends and relatives that I don't use -I find they're too nice to use most of the time)

Hopefully I don't sound too much like a fusspot!

I really enjoy swapping and love putting together beautiful packages (you can see some of them in my flickr album) however it is really disappointing when people automatically give ratings without even emailing or messaging to see if their parcel is on its way. Please remember that I am posting all the way from Australia and items can take 2-3 weeks to reach the US/Canada and Europe. Also if you have received a swap package from me its also just really nice if you could send me a messge or email just to let me know that it arrived safely.

I'm a huge Buffy fan! Also loved Sex And The City. I also like Ugly Betty, Heroes, Depserate Housewives, Cold Case and CSI. I'm also a bit of a sucker for reality tv (The Amazing Race, Survivor, Australian Idol etc...)

Jewellry making - I love swarovski crystal beads! (an am a bit of a snob when it comes to plastic beads yuck)

Paper crafts - I love making cards and am especially fond of handmade papers (think Japanese Yuzen!) and also cute stickers/buttons.

Other crafts - I'm also about to attempt to make my first felty animal for a swap so lets hope it's not a complete disaster! And I would love to be able to knit things other than scarves (read: I don't know how to add or subtract stitches :p )
