My one 1 rating was due to the fact that I had terrible food poisoning and was deathly ill for over a week. I let my partner know the swap was mailed a day or two late. She rated me 3 when she received it because - as she said - it was a couple days late. A couple weeks later, she went back in and changed the rating to a 1 saying she never received the swap. NOTE: This same swapper has had EIGHT 3’s and a 1. And she hasn’t even been on SB since 2016. There should be some way to remove this from my rating. It was nearly 7 years ago.

The moderator of the swap was aware of all this and had seen the original 3 rating but couldn't get her to change the 1 back to a 3.

I'm a wife of almost 38 years, married to a retired pastor and hobby upholsterer. A native Texan, I was dragged kicking and screaming to northern Indiana as a child where I was kept prisoner until I escaped to East TN (near Knoxville) in 1985. Thank the Lord for the South!

Have one grown son who is married, but no grandchildren. I've fostered 16 children. Was a co-pastor for 10 years. I’m disabled due to cirrhosis of the liver, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I'm actually beginning the evaluation for a liver transplant the first week in May. Please pray for me... I need it!

I'm conservative, but I LOVE to laugh and have fun! Like to play games like Yahtzee, White Elephant Bingo (my FAVORITE), Rummikub, Canasta, BuzzWord, Scrabble and my recent favorite Killer SkipBo. My tastes are fairly traditional but eclectic. I love, love, love almost anything vintage or retro!

Recently joined Stampin! UP! as a Demonstrator and am continually adding to my paper craft addiction.

I'm a die-cutting and embossing addict and LOVE paper and paper crafts. As a new Stampin' UP! demonstrator, I'm also learning how to stamp which is great!

I haven't done any zines yet, but can't wait to try my hand. They sound amazing! I also like to crochet and read Christian suspense, but making ATC's and JAMs, greeting cards and other paper crafts, including scrapbooking are my faves.

I like a variety of books but nothing dark, filled with foul language or sex. Especially enjoy old detective and mystery stories, vintage cookbooks, Christian suspense and authentic whodunits.

Agatha Christie is my favorite secular author, but I love and have read all of Dee Henderson's books, as well as books by Irene Hannon, Brandilyn Collins, Mary Higgins Clark and similar authors.

Also enjoy Mrs. Pollifax books and am always on the lookout for new authors who offer a great plot and interesting storyline. Don't particularly care for "cozy mysteries" but I've read a few I enjoyed. I typically prefer more action in what I read.

Almost anything black & white though I'm not too keen on war stories. LOVE old mysteries, musicals, comedies.

I love the old actors like William Powell, Cary Grant, David Niven, Ginger Rogers and the list could go on. Some of my favorites are Fiddler on the Roof, Newsies, any of the Thin Man movies, comedy westerns like Texas Across the River or the Sheepman. I also love anything with Tim Conway and Don Knotts, as well as Sabrina (old and newer versions).

The only modern movies I care anything about are the Marvel Avenger series but I'm on hold with them right now. My TV Guardian (language filter) died and the Marvel movies all have more profanity than I care for. But I LOVE Groot, especially Baby Groot and most of the Avenger characters.

As in everything else, I like retro TV but not the shows I've seen a trillion times. Although I LOVE Hee Haw! (Yeah, it's corny, but it's so much fun!)

My music tastes vary like everything else, but my favorite style is '60s and '70s. Brandy is the best song EVER... also love Bob Seger, Al Green, Joan Baez, Crosby Stills & Nash and many, many more.

I'm picky about the lyrics and won't listen to crude, sacriligious or "trashy" lyrics but I love that '70s folk and light rock sound even in the Christian music I listen to. I especially like ballads with good words and an uplifting message.
