I'm a California Capricorn-On-The-Cusp-Of-Aquarius who loves playing around online. Thought I'd give communicating in real life a try ;) I'm a big fan of the works of Joss Whedon, the color purple (with runner up colors deep teal and silver), online communities, peanut butter and chocolate, meerkats, live theatre, and my pet cat Socks. I graduated as a performing arts major. I'm a sucker for cute and cuddly things. I'm a total night owl. My favorite character of all time (movies, tv, books, etc) is Timon from The Lion King. I have an ever-growing collection of Lion King memorabilia, and am always looking to add to the collection.

I like pretty much everything - Pop, Alternative, Rock, Country, Disney soundtracks, Folk music...basically anything but Hardcore Rap and Deathmetal.

Movies: The Lion King, Serenity, Ever After, Love Actually, Lilo and Stitch, Miss Congeniality, The Secret of Nimh, The Princess Bride, Coyote Ugly, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Life of Brian...pretty much anything else Disney as well.

TV: Firefly, Glee, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The Office, Parks & Rec, Community, Smallville, Top Chef, Project Runway, Dollhouse, Lost, Charmed (the first four seasons), Crossing Jordan, The District, random Food Network shows

Again, I'm open to a lot. Political humor (Stwert/Colbert/etc.) and the Redwall series are my current interests. I also love short novels. My favorite book of all time is Harold and the Purple Crayon.

My two big ones are baking (does baking count as a craft?), and making stuffed animals and other little sewing projects (animal ears and the like) - completely by hand as I lack a sewing machine. I often get little urges to try a new type of craft and am pretty much open to anything (except for leatherwork). I also love little painting projects with acrylic paint - boxes and picture frames and the like.

Disney pin trading. I collect Lion King pins specifically, but love buying bulk pin lots on eBay and trading them with employees at the parks for my favorite non-Lion King characters as well.

I adore my pet cat Socks. He's a black and white tuxedo cat; part Maine Coon and part Siamese with perhaps some other breeds mixed in. He has separation anxiety and loves being around people but he doesn't like being confined, so you can't hold him for very long. His favorite toy is his laser pointer, though he does like his feathery balls and furry tail on a string toys as well. He loves to eat people food as well as his own. He has claimed one blanket in particular to be his own suckle blanket.

A total sweet tooth. I love pretty much anything chocolate peanut butter, green apple or peach flavored. I prefer whole wheat over white flour - breads, pastas, etc. I pretty much live on carbs. One of my favorite foods is cereal, as long as it's not chocolate, fake fruit (Froot Loops) or marshmallow. If I could only eat vegetable chow mein the rest of my life I'd be happy. Though I'm a vegetarian, I am addicted to dairy. I can't handle any spice at all (as a gauge, black pepper and raw onions are too spicy). Avocados and artichokes are two of my least favorite foods. I also don't like coffee or teas - coffee tastes too strong and tea tastes too weak, go figure!

I tend to go for comfort more than style - if I could live in pajama pants I would. I love fleece and flannel, and unless I have to get really dressy I always wear pants (no shorts!). I love simple, solid colors - little to no prints in my wardrobe. I adore logo tees and cute socks. I look best in brown, shades of purple and pink/rose. I can't wear hightop shoes due to my funky ankles, and if I have to wear heels they have to be thick and short - no platforms or stilettos! I wear a medium shirt. No makeup or hair products besides shampoo/conditioner - I'm a throw-on-clothes-brush-out-hair-and-leave kinda person.
