Thank you MiMi. I'm so glad the group is just a positive and fun place. I feel so bad because Alex is amazingly wonderful but the clear opposite of me. He is very upbeat, positive, supportive-- he's made a completely huge impression on me. I only wanted people to be a part of the only active group like this on SB. It's sad to me that it turned into what it did.
Lovely lady, I thought I'd message you here rather than back on the "trip of a lifetime" page, in case you didn't read it (because it took me long enough to see your reply!).
I, just like you, love postcards not just for the image on them but mainly for what is written. Personal writing makes for the fertilisation and birth of lengthy friendships, and enables one to see into another's life a little. This is why I so enjoy finding cards that were never written to me, because it is a little extract from another world that you never knew about!
In fact, I just decided - because of your lovely answer to my question before, and how much I agree with you, I'm gonna "star" you on that one. Please continue with those swaps too, as I loved them, and if I think of any prompts for you I'll let you know.
To my dearest happyhoneybee: You ROCK! Your postcard to me for the Naked PC tag was awesome! You know how to peruse a profile and found a great match. It arrived really quickly too. I'm so tickled, Thank you so much! Hope to swap with you sometime.
I love it! Your comment about the candy corn candle captured all the outrage and indignation that I would have felt, too. When my students borrow my books and then bend the corners -- oooooh! As if a book, particularly a carefully chosen one for the classroom library (which I provide, incidentally!) were nothing more than paper with ink on it. Harumph! I'm working myself into a tizzy just thinking about it...

I'm glad you liked the Postcard! I thought he was a pretty cute little guy :)
I thought you might like this post especially after seeing your paper flowers and how much we like making things from book pages!

Yay! I'm blog famous! :D I really am so glad you liked the books I sent! Thank you for featuring them on your blog.
I went to the Laura Ingalls Wilder home in Missouri a few years back! It was soooo fun! I have a picture in front of it scrapbooked:)
