I am a woman in my 30s with two children. We live in Maine and I love it here. Being out in nature and near the water is wonderful. In the last year I have found my love of snail mail again and it continues to grow. Being able to indulge my creative and crafty side is something that I need more of in my life. I have been trying to get better at letting my creations go out into the world without it being to family. Vintage and/or whimsical items and decor describes what I like. Things don't have to match and I love color.

Music is something that I have had a love for since I was a child. I do have a wide range of likes when it comes to genres, but I do not like a lot within all of them. Spending time listening to new music and finding something that clicks with me is one of my favorite past times. If I only had enough time to listen to it all.

When I fell in love with reading I think was when I learned to read. I have read enough books that I can't remember them all and that I get to read some again like it is the first time. There is not a specific subject or area that I like more, but I do stray away from thrillers and very descriptive murder mystery types.

Sit me down on the couch and I can watch Runaway Bride with you or we could go for Frozen. Then again I like to watch the different Avenger movies or Transformer movies again and again, too. Oh, I have found that I love Casablanca and more classics. That is a new thing. I don't go the theater to watch movies as it is very expensive and too far away. The one we have in town couldn't afford to upgrade so they had to shut down.

Some of my favorite things in this world are butterflies, owls, hummingbirds, flowers, the quiet of a snowy day that can only truly be enjoyed standing in the middle of it, and the warmth of the sunshine on my skin after a rainy day.

When I go out in nature, mostly to the beach or river, I collect things, and then I like to make different types of pieces with them. Sometimes they are random and some are still halfway made. I like to make cards and envelopes to send, but I am not good at the envelopes yet. If a craft has something to do with being able to reuse and recycle I like to learn about it and see if I like to do it. Mod Podge is a favorite of mine. Vintage looking or whimsical looking items are my favorites for just about anything.

Update 10/5/16-I forgot to put in this section that I love to crochet. Finding new yarn and new patterns to make is so much fun for me because of the possibility of what the end project will be.
