About Me

Hello! I'm Julia, a Floridian Lymie with so much to fight for! In love with a man named Adam, and blessed to care for my cats, fish and leopard geckos.

My Art

Just some of the art I enjoy: image-manipulating, sculpting, painting (traditional and digital), and photography.

I am currently most involved in ATCs.

My Trades

My goal is all 5's =) I always make sure I have the time and resources to complete a swap before I join, and leave wiggle room in there for life's little happenings.

My 3: In 2016, crap happened, including a surprise move. I was able to send much later on, but it did leave me with a 3 (understandably).

What HEARTS mean when they come from me: it is a true complement for what you've made for the trade. When I open an envelope and the ATC makes me smile, or I feel that the artist has really put something of herself into the trade, that's when I give a heart.

If you're in a swap with me and are looking for some ideas, here are my likes and dislikes:

Likes

  • washi tape
  • indie nail polish
  • all animals (hedgehogs, turtles, leopard geckos + frogs are my fav)
  • most colors and combos
  • cute things, scary things, pretty things... (I have no preference)
  • when an ATC isn't flimsy (try gluing it onto a playing card or cardstock to give it support?)
  • all media
  • fish! I keep Bettas, New World Cichlids, Blood Parrots and other tropicals, currently.
  • Plants! I can't have a garden yet, but I love growing aquatic plants for now.

Dislikes

  • raw tomatoes
  • periwinkle and blue-ish purples (red-ish purples are okay)

Allergies

Sadly, I cannot have three of my favorite things: wheat/gluten, carrots and turkey.

Come on now, Julia, does one really need a reason to get new paints, haha! :) :) Glad you like the ATC! I did the background painting first and then drew the lines in afterward. It's a fun process!
