About Me
I have fair skin, dark hair, green eyes. I consider myself to be rather feminine in dress and act, but am also a bit of a tom boy. I love to go for walks in nature, love animals of all kinds (have had iguanas, tarantulas, and snakes as pets), collect fairies and frogs. I love to read, listen to music, craft, and garden. My favorite color is purple.
Favorite music: I am a bit eclectic in my music choices. My favorite music is alternative. Bands like Theory of a Deadman, Staind, Godsmack, Finger 11, and the Killers. But I also enjoy Celtic music,(such as Lorenna Mckennit and Enya) eighties rock.
My favorite authors are Steven King, Iris Johansson, John Grisham, and Patricia Cornwell. Some of my favorite books are The Four Love Languages, The Mists of Avalon, and Of Mice and Men. I am currently reading The Life and Times of Michael K, The Blind Assassin, SM 101, and The Theory and Practice of Volunteer Servitude.
I love to craft when I can find the time. I love making glycerin soaps, candles, leather toys, scrapbooking, crocheting, mixed media collages and I am starting to make altered books.
I also love to garden and play around in my yard. I love flowers and my favorites are carnations, asiatic lilies, balloon flowers, and wisteria. I also love to experiment in the kitchen and coming up with new recipes.
My family also does historic reenacting. Mainly the War of 1812.
My favorite movies are Of Mice and Men, the Harry Potter series, Vampires, Interview with a Vampire, bad zombie movies, and Gone with the Wind
I don't watch a lot of television but I do like House, NCIS, Alton Brown, Rachael Ray, and Down Home with the Neeleys.
I figured I would include family info for the kid and significant other swaps.
My fiance loves anything to do with history. He has been a War of 1812 reeactor for years and me and the kids are starting to get into it too. He also loves 1980's and celtic music. His favorite color is blue.
My oldest daughter is 17. She loves music, the colors red and blue, plays the clarinet, anything fashion or beauty related, and animals.
My youngest daughter is 16. She loves music, reading, animals, plays the trombone, favorite colors are pink and purple.
Soon to be granddaughter. Will be born January 2011.

Hey let me start off by apologizing for this being so late.
I love old horror movies, because they are in black and white, and most of the time aren't scary anymore. Things that scare us as a child don't do the same as an adult. I love having gardens as well, but living where I do now that's just not an option.

Well you are very brave.I had a horrible nightmare about snakes the other day.I wasn't pleasant haha But i cant help it, i love all animals too.They need love. My fave color is also purple. Oohhh...so exciting that there is a little one on the way. I just had my first son, Lincoln, 3 months ago. I have been so blessed with a happy, curious, healthy baby :)
Historic reenacting, eh? That sounds very interesting! Is this done as part of a club or for public performances? I have to say I am somewhat intrigued. Very nice that it is something you can all do as a family together :)
