I'm a native Californian who had a brief stint in Texas for 4 years. I'm a kinder teacher, dog lover, art maker and nature enthusiast! I love to receive any kind of mail but anything handmade or any kind of art is much appreciated!

Dogs are my absolutely favorite animal (I also love cows though), even though I don’t have any of my own. I grew up with a border terrier and two Boston terriers who are grumpy old men now and still live with my parents. I love weird, squishy faced dogs, but also beautiful and classic dogs!

I love drawing- I usually use markers and pens but also am into watercolor, colored pencil, collage, etc!

I love nature (except the bugs hahaha), I love camping and spending time outdoors. I’m excited to be exploring Northern California nature after living in Austin- there is some really cool and beautiful scenery in and around Austin, but it is a whole different scene over here.

I love reading too! Mostly fiction- realistic fiction or thriller or most things within the fiction genre except fantasy! Some of my favorites are “Kite Runner”, “A Thousand Splendid Suns”, “Americanah”, “Gone Girl” and “The Vanishing Half” and “The Hate U Give”. In the nonfiction/memoir sector though I also greatly enjoyed “Know my Name” and “Maybe You Should Talk to Someone”.

I love both coffee and tea- would prefer not to receive any though :)

I also am getting into plants! I don’t have a green thumb but I’m very into filling my home with flowers and succulents these days! I love to learn more about new things too, so hoping to find some folks that want to share their talents and skills on here.

I’d love to receive any kind of happy mail! -stickers (ideally not kid stickers though I can make use of them for my kinders) -washi tape -cards -postcards -mail art -typed or handwritten notes -anything with dogs or cows (or any animal!) -anything punny -anything reading or book related -zen art -anything music related -anything related to teaching -anything plant related (especially succulents) -watercolor art -prints -stamps

I’m new to this and am honestly very open to receiving just about anything (within reason haha). Thanks y’all!
