I love to sew and do machine embroidery. Quilting is my passion. I love fabric. I like scrapbooking, cross-stitch and crochet. I like bright fabrics, batiks are my favorite. I like butterflies, floral, modern type fabric. I like all holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. I have 3 grandsons and I like making stuff for them. I live with my husband. We both grew up in Texas. I like movies and my guilty pleasure is reality tv. I watch the housewives. I also love visiting quilt shops. I belong to my local quilt guild and chair of block of the month.

I like all kinds of music. I really like oldies that I grew up on. It has to sound great and make me happy. I will listen to whatever is on the radio. I really only listen to music while in my car driving.

I enjoy watching tv. I watch too much according to my husband. I watch reality tv also. My favorite shows are crime dramas. I like Criminal Minds, Law & Order, CSI, Greys Anatomy & Army Wives. I love all the real housewives shows, Project Runway, Top Chef, Dancing with the Star and American Idol. Let's just say that I am glad for TIVO. My husband loves electronics so I have Netflix, Roku, Apple TV along with an IPAD to watch HBO GO.

I like all the romance movies, thrillers, comedies and dramas. I don't like the stupid movies that are just too crazy to watch. I liked Bridesmaids, Hunger Games and Taken. I will watch just about anything that does not put me to sleep. Not really into supernatural movies. Can't wait to see Rock of Ages.

My favorite crafts are quilting, sewing and machine embroidery. I have a Viking Designer SE, a Brother Quattro, and a Babylock Evolve. I like to make stuff for my family and friends. I have a ton of fabric and sewing stuff. I really need to de-stash. I also like scrapbooking and card making. I have the Cricut Expression and I make cards to give away. I will crochet in the winter. I am not fond of having yarn on me in the summer. I will try new things and I like taking classes.

I just turned 51. I have been married for almost 30 years. I have 2 adult sons and 3 grandsons. I am always outnumbered. Male dominated family. I cannot get any of the boys interested in sewing or doing crafts. I will color and paint with my grandson. I worked 20 years for a major insurance company. I am currently on disability. I just had my 5th back surgery 3 weeks ago. I am slowly recovering. I spend a lot of time on the Internet while recovering. I belong to my local quilt guild. Without this group, I would go crazy. I live in a state without any family members. We moved here for my husbands job. We moved 5 times for his career. Loved the benefits but not being away from family. I just regret that my boys could walk down the street and pass by a relative and not know it. We go home for visits but it's too hard to see everyone during the trip. We have a timeshare with Starwood and we have taken some nice vacations. My favorite was to Atlantis in the Bahamas. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband.

My favorite color is pink, purple and blue. I love batiks, oriental and bright color fabric. I love butterfles, bears, collecting wedding dolls and Cherished Teddies. When Beanie Banies were hot, I stood in line for hours to get the bears. LOL. I used to do cake decorating and have done many wedding cakes. My cakes were the best tasting. My bad habit is that I love to buy fabric and crafty stuff. When QVC and HSN have hobby and craft day, I don't leave the house. My stuff takes up 3 rooms plus 1/2 of the basement. My sons can never move back home.
