Hi, My name is Irene, I am 49 mom of three grown up kids...2 girls and a boy. I have 6 grandkids...2girls and 4boys. My hobbies are crafts, quilting and scrapbooking and crochet. I collect fabric, paper, fibers and anything old, especially from the victorian period. I also like to poems and quotes of all kinds...I like to usse them in my scrap pages. My fave color is purple. I am currently getting hooked on making mini albums of all kinds and learning about all the cute techniques you can put in them. I like the out doors, suduko puzzles and play tetris on line.

Love all kinds of music, I like country, old classic rock and of course 70's music from my high school years.

I love the classics and short stories. I also enjoy a good romance once in awhile.

I don't watch a lot of t.v.... but I do enjoy some of the reality shows like 'dancing with the stars and 'big brother'. Almost forgot....my two soap's 'days of our lifes' and 'young and the restless' i watch these....that is when i don't forget to record them.

I enjoy most crafts, sewing, crochet, quilting and scrapbooking are my faves. I like to crochet lots of different things...blankets, dolls, scarves, but i really love to make old fashion doilys with the thinner threads.

I'm still learning when it comes to quilts, I'm into learning about the older blocks and quilt styles. My goal is to try to make one block of all my faves and all the basic one's and put them in a binder. I really like the vintage reproduction fabrics from the 30's and 40's. I love to applique and just try different techniques. The quilt I would love to make but too chicken to try is the Crazy quilt...I'd love to make an old victorian looking one. As fabric colors i like them all...my least favorite colors are orange's and neon colors...but I have used these colors in some of my projects.

For scrapbooking I enjoy creating tags, pockets, inserts, all kinds of little things to add to my pages. I like learnning lots of techniques to use on my minis and pages, i use lots of emblellishments and fibers. I don't use alot of stickers, unless they have some kind of demension to them, like the epoxy ones. Right now I am into the little mini albums and the chipboard albums. I also like the paperbag albums, which i like to give away as gifts to my friends and family.

Most of time I drink selzer water. I don't like coffee but I do like all kinds of teas. I drink diet DP on occasion, most fruit juices.

I like hard candy, sour candy and of course chocolate.....reeses is my fave.
