I am married and have four daughters and one grandchild. I am a Paramedic, but currently am a SAHM.I homeschool our youngest daughters. My husband Kenny, is a police officer, he accepted a position with a security company so I could be at home with our children. He is presently working in Baghdad, Iraq. We have been married for 8 years. Our children are from our previous marriages. Although I will use "step" in this description, it's merely to explain our family dynamics. I don't really like the seperation caused by the emphasis that is often placed on "step & half," Any addition to our family is considered a blessing and is welcomed and received as a "whole" (just my opinion). Ok, Sulyn (dob:12/03/91) is our oldest daughter, she graduated high school in "2010." She wanted to take a break before attending college. She has decided she wants to attend nursing school and will begin taking core classes next semester. Katy Elizabeth (dob:2/22/92) is my step daughter and the mother of our grandchild, Kayden (dob:06/2710). They live with Katy's mom about 2 hours from us. Therefore, we don't visit with them as often as I would like. We do keep in touch through phone calls and facebook though. Our middle child Caitlin, is 14y/o (dob:10/22/97) Suffers from asthma,other than her struggle with asthma, she is a typical teenage girl, she enjoys designing new outfits, reading, taking and editing pictures, hello kitty and gir and invader zim. She enjoys writing to friends. So, if anyone has a child around her age, she would love a new pen pal. Our baby is Leigh, she is 12y/o (06/17/99). Leigh was diagnosed(04/12/11) with type I diabetes and hypothyroidism. She has to receive insulin injections with each meal and at bedtime. Her Dr. is still adjusting her medication regimen to determine the proper amount needed to keep her bloodsugar within normal limits. Some days are very difficult for her, regulating insulin is done by trial and error because it varies with each individual, especially in children. Some days it will be extremely high all day, increasing the # of injections she must receive. Other days using the same dosages, it will be extremely low. Any large deviation from the normal range causes physical illness. She has done extremely well with the responsibilities and the treatment required for management of diabetes. However, there are still many days where she is overwhelmed and completely discouraged with the knowledge that there is no cure for type I diabetes, and she will always have to monitor her food intake and recieve insulin injections to control her diabetes. Leigh enjoys being outside, she likes to draw (and has gotten quite good at it.) she likes to read and write short stories, she loves animals (all three of them do) I don't believe anything in world would make them any happier than to physically search and locate every mistreated animal and place them in loving homes.(with most of them if not all, remaining in ours.) We have fostered many strays, nursed them back to health and found them loving, adoptive homes. Fortunately, I love them also.

We live in a small, rural community located in southwest Ga. We are 15 miles from Florida in one direction and 20 miles from Alabama in another. We do not have any residences in close proximity to our residence, giving us the advantage of privacy. Our neighbors do keep an eye on our home and are very willing to provide any help we may need. I'm very thankful. We have 3 horses, 1 Jenny, a rabbit and four small dogs. IMPORTANT INFO: My Mom also has an active account with Swap-bot. She lives in an apartment, next to our house. Because we both occupy the same property, we share the same mailing address. Our accounts were both approved through Rachel. I am favorable to country music. Artist like Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Kenny Chesney. I also like the older country artist and groups like Alabama, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn and so on. I like some pop, Rock oldies from the 60's,70's,and 80's, and some heavy metal from the late 80's and the 90's. I do not like rap.

I really enjoy reading, I like stay up to date on advances in medical science. Particularily where there have been changes and/or studies on the prehospital care of a patient. Any information regarding juvenile diabetes or treatment for children with asthma. ** I like religious books, esp. when they contain scripture and somehow encourage the reader or require the reader participation. ** I do not want to be told what to think** I want to have the opportunity to look the scripture up and make an informed decision on my own.** My favorite religious author is Max Lucado** **I like to read true crime novels, usually I am familiar with the crime from either the news, or Nancy Grace, By the time the novel is written the trial is over and I'm curious about details that were not permitted during the trial.

I like Dance Moms, Nancy Grace, Law and Order Svu, King of the Hill, forensic files, The Case Files of Dale Hinman, 20/20, ID, Deadly Woman, Scorned, Sins and Secrets and Dateline I really enjoy the hallmark movie channel and lifetime.

I love to cross stitch, quilting, scrapbooking, photography matting, coliage and editing. I like to sew, create paper crafts. I enjoy learning new craft projects.

My favorite color is green but I also love peach. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I especially like baking and candy making. I lovve cookbooks. I try to be very organized and it freaks me out not to be. I make lists for everything and then make lists of my lists. LOL.
