Hello, I am very excited to be swapping here on swap-bot with people from around the world!
I live in a country village in South Africa with my two daughters, aged 14 and 13, and our entourage of pets. I work from home doing writing, as well as some webdesign and online marketing (usually at night!). I am a lover of all things creative.
I have such fond childhood memories of swapping stickers, writing paper and sweet-smelling erasers in the schoolyard. I am still a sucker for 'cute' and now enjoy collecting all kinds of stationary and other paraphernalia with my daughters.
Because I live in South Africa, my swaps may take a little longer to reach their destination, but be assured that they are on their way! Please rate asap so that I know you received your swap. Thank you!
I enjoy all kinds of crafting but one of my favorite crafts is collage. I also like paper crafts, crochet, embroidery, doodling and photography. I'll try just about anything creative! My daughters and I both enjoy ATCs.
PLEASE NOTE: I use a lot of pictures and paper from old children's books in my artwork. Just so that you know, I DO NOT cut up any good books! The books I use are damaged beyond repair and I save them from being thrown into the trash at the Animal Welfare shop where I volunteer. This is part of my reduce, reuse and recycle ethos!
♥EVERYTHING kawaii and Japanese! My children and I love all Sanrio and San-X characters but my all time favorites are ♥DEERY-LOU♥ and Chi Chai Monchan!
♥ Stationery: writing pads, writing sets, envelopes, cute stickers, notepads, note cards, journals, rubber stamps, pens, pencils, novelty erasers, labels, tags and off course all kawaii stationery. I am not so fond of Diddl.
♥ Postcards: papaya art, vintage, birds, art, illustrated, kawaii, whimsical, 1950s imagery, quirky, animals etc. I do not collect any country/travel-related postcards, and so will usually pass those on. Anyone looking for these, please ask!
♥ Themes: retro, hearts, vintage patterns, cute animals, BIRDS, woodland animals, DEER, bunnies, and anything Japanese.
♥ Miscellaneous: chocolate, coffee, herbal teas (ginger, berry, cinnamon) anything vanilla or sandalwood, origami papers, anime, manga, incense, knitted/crocheted items, embroidery floss, yarn, anything vintage, wooden scrabble tiles, Russian Nesting Dolls, buntings, fold up boxes, memoirs and anything inspirational!
Ephemera: I really prefer vintage and arty papers, but sometimes joining Ephemera swaps are fun.
♥ Anything Kawaii, Moshi Monsters and Littlest Pet Shop (cards, stickers, figurines), stickers, stationery, novelty erasers, HORSE anything, and candies from around the world.
♥ My girls have collected elongated (pressed) pennies on both our trips to the USA and would LOVE to receive some more for their collection books. Unfortunately we can't swap any in return as they won't part with the few they have and we can't get them here!
I love our earth and I reuse and recycle packaging where possible.
We are animal lovers and our home is pet-friendly. Although I do try my best to keep the cats away from all of my crafts and collections, it isn't always possible. I turn my back for one minute and there they are... one leg up in the air, cleaning themselves on my latest creation!
I keep careful records of all swaps. If I do not receive from you , I will pm you.
If you don't receive something from me, please send me a message, as I have posted all my swaps by the deadline. I have found that my parcels take up to 3 weeks internationally. After that, I am happy to resend.
Above all else, I want to thank each and every one of my swap partners for the time, effort, and -of course- money they have spent on sending something to me that they believe will make me happy!
♥ collage crafts including ATCs, flat profile surprises, letter sets, kawaii swaps and swaps for the kids!
I'm always looking to do ATC swaps for the kids, so if you'd like to do a private ATC kiddie swap, please message me!

So craziest thing Tuesday-in my mailbox is the tea you sent this summer-postmarked July 2nd !! It took just over 3 months. So it wasn't my husband, who I thought didn't keep my vacation mail organized well enough but one (or both) of our postal services. The envelope is in perfect condition as if you just mailed it yesterday! I wish it could tell me about the journey! Anyway, thanks again for the teas! The raspberry white tea and the cinnamon orange sound like my favorites. Maybe the tea just wanted to wait and show up when the weather was cold and I was in the mood for hot tea :)
I'm glad to know you liked the memo sheets I picked out for you :) Enjoy!
Happy Fall from the I LOVE Kawaii group!
Thank you so much for sending back my ATC bag. I really appreciate it and it is my first bag I have received back...so it's even more exciting. :)
