I joined this site because ever since I was younger, I have enjoyed sending and receiving snail mail. I enjoy journaling and scrapbooking along with many other crafts such as sewing, baking, and upcycling many items from thrift stores. I like to sing and have an odd fascination with "vintage" items and information. My favorite animals are penguins and giraffes. I am an EMT and enjoy helping people. I have a wanderlust mind with a gypsy soul that is limited to my bank account. :0) I have an open mind and can't wait to meet and learn about everyone and anyone. I have 1 daughter who is about to turn 12 years old this coming Sunday. As cliche as it sounds, they really do grow up fast. She is a sweet girl who is beginning to discover her emotions. Not only can it be confusing for her, it's a learning process for us both. Hugs and support is what I'm full of right now. That and guidance to raise a good human being. Lord, steer me right! I also have a boyfriend/fiance who I have been with for 8.5 years. I must say, I love him as much as I did the first year we were together. He is an officer and the stronger part of me. We couldn't be more different, but somehow, we just mesh well. He truly is my best friend. I also have 3 dogs. 2 Boston terriers and 1 dachshund. They are some goofy little dogs and I'm not too sure if they even know they are dogs or how fortunate they are. Spoiled little stinkers! :)

I enjoy and listen to various genres of music. I am not much of a fan of today's rap music. I have loved to sing ever since I could speak. I play a little bit of guitar. Just the basics. Definitely no Jimi Hendrix, but what other instrument better to sing to than the guitar. I received a ukulele a few months ago and have gradually learned a few chords to it. I like it so much because no matter what string you strum, it always sounds like a sunny day in hawaii.

My favorite movies are horror and thriller movies. I'm so indecisive that I am unable to give a favorite. LOL I am sensitive and will cry at just about anything. I cried at Toy Story 4. Embarrassing, but I own it.

Supernatural, Call the Midwife, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, 13 Reasons Why. Lately, I have been playing some catch up with Riverdale and Game of Thrones. Two shows that have grasped my attention.

Well, besides participating in snail mail, I love paper crafts and playing on my cricut machine. I am hoping to save up enough money for the cricut maker. I love to sew and am really looking forward to what the machine can offer. I like to watercolor paint and am interested in graduating to acrylic or oil painting. I like to bake and pretend like I know how to decorate a beautiful cake but the truth is, I would be a great candidate for the Netflix show, "Nailed It" (love that show)! My baking tastes good, but I am not the handiest with a frosting bag. I enjoy doing pretty much anything crafty. I love DIYs and creating whatever floats my boat at the time.

Sunrises, sunsets, penguins, giraffes, sparkles, bright colors, fruity scents, washi tape, stickers, colorful paper, (basically office supplies excite me) bike riding, teas (any and all), trying new things, traveling, shooting guns, fishing, kayaking, singing, dancing, playing guitar and ukulele, writing short stories and poems, all holidays especially Halloween, thunder storms, seafood, pasta, upcycling, vintage items, the victorian era intrigues me, bullet journaling, jewelry, kind and non-judgemental people, coffee, I'll have to add on to the list as I think of more. I enjoy most things and rarely dislike much.
