About Me

I'm a crazy linguiphile, a musician, a crocheter, an animal lover with every fiber of my being, wicked-cool, fun to hang with and will promise odd/entertaining/kick-ass/gorgeous swaps!

I love just about every color out there, and my faves are burnt orange and crimson...and cobalt blue...and kelly green....and anything striped!

I have played in a celtic group for years, and am a musician at heart. I am also a sign language interpreter and currently studying Spanish to add to my career as an interpreter in the future. I have 4 years of German under my belt, love to collect quotes and anything in other languages. I'd LOVE to get into some international swaps that would focus on language in some way. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for that.

I love photography that shows the artist's effort and passion (not just point and click crap that anyone can pull off), and I am trying my hand at some of that these days as well (not point and click crap...heh). I'd love to swap some photography as well.

I am Buddhist (Tibetan Buddhist, specifically) and also consider myself to be Pagan in a sense (long story). I have found those paths work well together. I am a lover of religious iconography, specifically Pagan/Wiccan, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, The Guadalupe Mary and ANYTHING in the vein of Dia De Los Muertos. Although I do admire a willingness to share what's important in one's life, I have NO interest in anything preachy or Jesus-soaked. Keep the crispy for your next swap partner, si vous plait.

I am substantially tattooed and pierced and (with time and $) I will continue to add to my body art. I have original pieces as well as some that were designed for me (and a couple sweet-ass trad American flash pieces, I ain't gon' lie...). I am interested in collecting original tattoo art/paintings and seeing where that leads. Most of my interest lies in traditional American (Sailor Jerry) style ink and traditional Asian style ink. People like Guy and Hannah Aitchison, Niko Hurtado...inspiring and amazing. Check 'em out. ;) ...not to mention my local homeboyz, Mr. Andrew Milko, Scott Shickman, Chris Orr...

Misc lurves: old crusty antique keys, locks, compasses, clocks, maps, postcards, wood work, game pieces, foreign icons/trinkets, woven fiber art, ANYTHING FROM INDIA, GERMANY, OR LATIN COUNTRIES.

Fave animals: elephants, SQUIRRELS, birds (peacocks, owls, sparrows, hummingbirds), and foxes

Namaste, my swapping poochies and beasties. :)
