I have a very full life. I'm married, have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren!

My degree is in home ec education, with a minor in art (emphasis on weaving), but life has a way of twisting and turning. I work full-time for a mental health agency as a Special Projects Coordinator/Compliance Officer.

I love texture and color, textiles and gardening. Collage work and various forms of altered art fit me to a tee. I enjoy swaps and enjoy the conversations and artwork that result from them.

I also love traveling. I have family in Germany and I've also traveled to Ireland. Both countries, in my opinion, full of color, texture, imagination and inspiration.

Blues,aquas, teals, green, cream, browns and pinks. Vintage textiles and ribbons,(fabric and paper but especially satin and velvet ribbons), buttons,old sewing notions, gardens, botanical prints,old playing cards, old games and game pieces and Harker and McCoy pottery. I love Words; text, great fonts, quotes, old hymnals or Bibles,dictionaries, maps and vintage Sunday school items. I especially like botanical prints; flowers,trees, birds (vintage, realistic). Decorated rubber-stamped papers you have made. Small snippets of handmade paper or unusual fabric or trims would be great as well. I enjoy doing ATCs, inchies and charm pieces. Little snippets work well. Die-cut stickers -like Mrs. Grossman stickers.

Strong scents such as perfumes and cigarette smoke. I don't like them and husband has allergies.

Reds, blacks, oranges, nudes, really contemporary stuff, photos of "Victorian type" women, children and cats. (I'm just kind of bored with that look..)Zodiac, gift wrap ribbon. I do not like sparkly stickers or non-die-cut (the kind of sticker that has a rim of white or background color around it.)

I don't watch too much TV or movies, but when I do, I like to be able to work on a project. Here are some of my favorites:Monarch of the Glen, Ballykissangel,(BBC series, I think. Yeah for NETFLIX-they are addictive.) Dancing with the stars,Mad Money,Squawk Box, Fast money, Cleveland CAV basketball games,the news,Divine Design, NCIS and the Mentalist, and Cash Cab while I'm working in the kitchen.

Feedback! I'm not all that concerned about ratings, but I would like to know if those I send to receive what I sent. I typically put a fair amount of time into the swaps - and would just like to know if folks received them or not. Thanks!

I've taken a liking to the square glass canisters that you can get at thrift stores for about 50 cents. Usually three different sizes - great for storing little stuff and I can see what I have.
